He knew I'd be watching. Watching as Mare was beaten over and over into a pulp. It was the worst thing I have ever seen. Worse than my mothers death and worse than my brothers. I am forever changed.
I knew she was bait. I knew he would want me more then her because I am more developed in my skill set. Mare is very capable I am just better. It's not an opinion, it's a fact.
I walk back to the cafeteria and make a plan because it is the only thing I can do. I feel so helpless sitting here. I want to rush over there and kill my brother but I know I can't do that. First of all Mare would kill me and second I know she's bait. Maven hates me A LOT more than he hates Mare.
So now all I do is sit here and try to make plans.
