*Edited*
It'd been a few months of scrapbooking club, and Calum and Ashton were becoming close friends, (even though they both thought of each other as "the boy who deserves the best, and that is not me"), and they were finally meeting up outside of their club, at a little coffee shop in town called Teresa's Mugs, where Michael worked.
Ashton and Calum wanted Luke and Michael to meet since they thought they'd be amazing friends, maybe even more, which Luke said would "probably never happen since (he's) a giraffe with a lip ring".
As Calum and Michael were getting ready at Michael's flat that he lived in with his mum, Calum kept rambling about how nervous he was to see Ashton outside of the club, and if he would even show up.
"I mean, Michael! What if he doesn't even show up?! What if he's just been faking being my friend so he can lead up to this and ditch me in front of my best friend?" Calm said while anxiously attempting to fix his own hair, pushing his wavy black hair to his right but never quite getting it in the place he wanted.
"Calum, if this guy has been putting up with you for 5 months, he must really like you," Michael said, tugging on his ripped skinny jeans that he wore with a long sleeve Sleeping With Sirens shirt.
"I honestly don't know if I should feel happy or insulted right now," Calum said in regards to Michael's comment.
Michael rolled his eyes, and ruffled up Calum's hair that he had finally perfected."
A little bit of both, mate," Michael responded.
Calum squealed when he saw his hair had been messed up, quickly trying to fix it before it was too late.
"Mikey! You messed up my hair!" Calum whined.
"Oh shut up, Calum, you look fine," Michael said, tugging on his converse and heading to the door.
"Ugh, you suck," Calum groaned, sulkily following Michael out the door and to Michaels car.
They got in the car and turned on Calum's Spotify, with his choice of music being The 1975 because it would put them in a "coffee shop mood!"
They finally got to Teresas Mugs, but not without Michael complaining about how they could've chosen any other coffee shop besides the one he works at, and Calum insisting that Teresas Mugs would set the mood as a casual date with Ashton, with Michael firing back by asking if he and Luke were chopped liver, as Calum had seemed to have completely forgotten that Michael and Luke would be joining Calum and Ashton.
When they arrived at the coffee shop, Calum and Michael walked in, seeing Ashton and Luke had already saved a spot for them. Ashton (a.k.a. Ash, a.k.a. Hot Dog) waved to Calum (a.k.a. Cal, a.k.a. Strawberry) and smiled towards Michael, who smiled back and went to the counter to order Calum and his drinks, as Ashton and Luke had already ordered.
"Hey! How's my Strawberry doing today?"Ashton asked once Calum sat down, laughing at Calum's face that had, yet again, turn the color of a strawberry.
"I'm good, how are you?" Calum asked, face still flushed.
"Good, thanks," Ashton smiled.
"Luke, I'd like for you to meet Calum Thomas Hood, and Calum, I'd like for you to meet Lucas Robert Hemmings," Ashton introduced.
Calum and Luke both exchanged embarrassed smiles, since Ashton, being the weirdo he was, revealed their full names, which no one has done since the 20's.
"Sorry we didn't wait on you guys to get drinks, Luke was insistent on buying a peppermint hot chocolate before they sold out," Ashton said to Calum.
