"Luke, stop! I'm not hungry!" Ashton shouted angrily. He stormed down the stairs of Luke's house and slammed the door. Ashton began walking down the sidewalk, infuriated, when he heard Luke yelling his name his feet pattering behind Ashton.
"You're sick, Ash! Do you hear me?! You're sick!" Luke yelled while Ashton continued walking. Ashton turned on his heels, his eyes watering from anger and frustration and his face completely red.
"Look at me, Luke! I'm fine, see? I'm still fat and ugly, just like you want!" Ashton exclaimed. He noticed his vision began becoming blurry and his knees were wobbling, but he couldn't care less.
"Do you even hear yourself? Do you even see yourself?! You look like a goddamn malnourished four year old! You're so skinny Ashton, but you're still freaking beautiful! Why do you think I used to be in love with you, you idiot?! You're beautiful, inside and out!" Luke shouted, not realizing what he just said. His eyes bulged and his hands started to shake. He couldn't believe he just told Ashton he used to be in love with him.
"Oh no..." Luke said.
"W-what? You used to-"Ashton began to say. Before he could finish his sentence, he started to black, not processing anything that was going on.
"I- Ash!" Luke shouted, catching his curly headed best friend who had just collapsed in his arms.
*30 minutes earlier*
"I'm so excited to see him, Lukey!" Ashton squealed like a tween girl. "I mean, we already told each other we love each other and-"
"Wait. You already said you love each other?" Luke questioned, raising his eyebrows. They were currently sitting alone in Luke's room and messing around with creating beats and song lyrics. Ashton was truly just trying to pass by the few hours there were until his scrapbooking club he was in, which was where he'd see his boyfriend, Calum.
"Well, yeah..." Ashton said.
"But you guys have only been dating for a week or so," Luke said, trying not to raise his voice or have a trace of jealousy in his tone. He had to admit, he used to really love Ashton in the beginning of the school year. Not like a brotherly love either, Luke really was in love with Ashton. That was after his ex broke up with him, so he fell for him partially because of how vulnerable he was. He knew Ashton just loved him like a best friend though, so eventually his feeling faded for him, and he was starting to grow a huge crush on Michael. Still, every now and then, Luke would feel a bit of jealousy when he saw Calum and Ashton holding hands or kissing. He'd never tell Ashton about how he used to love him, though, because he didn't want to scare him. Plus, he's over it, so there was no point.
"We've known each other for over half a year and at the same time have liked each other for over half a year, so I think that it's safe to say its love," Ashton explained, blushing at the thought of Calum.
"Oh. Cool," Luke said simply. He started strumming his guitar and Ashton made a beat that went with Luke's tune he created.
"He sleeps alone, my heart wants to come home," Ashton sang, making up the words. He looked at Luke, cuing him into make up the next lyrics.
"I wish I was, I wish I was, beside you," Luke sang, thinking of Michael while creating the lyrics, which made him smile when realizing he was over Ashton and just loved him like a brother and a best friend.
"Wow!" Ashton exclaimed. He stopped drumming on his Cajon and looked at Luke with excitement filled eyes. "That was fantastic Luke! I love it! We should tell Cal and Mikey about it when we're all together soon." Luke nodded in agreement.
