"Ashton. Ash," Calum whispered, shaking Ashton's shoulder lightly. Ashton groaned and rolled over, turning his back to Calum and facing the window in the bedroom.

"Ashton Fletcher Irwin, do not make me bring in the tickle monster!" Calum giggled, climbing over Ashton so they were facing each other.

"Cal no, 'm tired," he said, smiling lazily and rolling over to his other side.

"Ash I wanna do something. Today's our last day together alone. Please," Calum whined.

"Five more minutes," Ashton said, curling up into a ball and pulling the covers completely over his face.

"Alright, you leave me no choice," Calum said, walking over to the window.

"Calum, tickling is for five year olds, don't tickle me," Ashton mumbled, turning and facing Calum who was standing by the window and squinting his eyes.

"Oh no, what I'm about to do is worse than the tickle monster," Calum said matter-of-factly.

"There's nothing worse than the tickle monster," Ashton said, looking at his boyfriend in confusion.

"But there is," Calum said, ripping the curtains open, blinding Ashton in natural light.

"Oh my god! Okay! Holy shit, I'm awake, Cal, I'm up!" Ashton exclaimed dramatically, covering his eyes and glaring at Calum, stomping out of his room to the bathroom.

Calum laughed, smiling proudly and walked downstairs, roaming around.

He walked around downstairs while Ashton was in the bathroom, and when he was exploring the halls, he saw an open room in the back hallway.

"Whoa," was all Calum could say. In the room was a shiny red drum set that had the word 'Ash' in big, bold, capital letters made of masking tape, taped onto the front of the bass drum.

He didn't know Ashton could play the drums.

He also saw a few guitars in the back of the room and a bass guitar as well, along with three amps.

Calum walked over, picking up the bass guitar and plugged it into the amp, turning the volume down.

He started to play the cords to 'American Idiot' by Green Day. Calum had been playing the bass for over a year and had already picked it up pretty well. He took lessons each week and loved the bass but didn't see much of a point in playing if he wasn't in a band to play with.

Calum finished the song and looked up, gasping slightly when he saw Ashton learning on the door way, smiling.

"Oh god, sorry I didn't ask you to play this. I just-" Calum started to say.

"That. Was. Awesome," Ashton said in awe.

"Huh? Seriously?" Calum asked in shock.

"Yeah babe that was really great. Green Day, right?" Ashton replied.

"American Idiot," Calum responded. They were silent for a few seconds until Calum looked at Ashton's drums.

"You play the drums?" Ashton nodded.

"How come you never told me?" Calum asked curiously.

"I'm not the great. Besides, you never told me that you play guitar," Ashton said. Calum shrugged, smiling.

"Play something," Calum told him.

"Why?" Ashton asked, his face paling slightly.

"I wanna see you play. I won't judge, Ash," Calum said. Ashton sighed and nodded, nervously picking up his drum sticks and sitting on the seat of the drum set.
