XIII-Field Trip

It was Monday, and I woke up very bored. Until I remembered that I was having a field trip at the beach.
I arrived at school and the first person I talked to was Brian.
He was my friend that I would hang out with when everyone wouldn't pay attention. Don't get me wrong, he's not my second option, but he was there for me when I needed him. I showed him chapter XI-Pearl, and then I remembered that he didn't know about Pearl, but it was too late.
I asked Jack to go next to me in the way there, but he wouldn't answer. We were talking about a story he read (Daddy's Favorite) but when I noticed, he was talking to Alfred.
And then he went besides him in the trip, leaving me alone. I lend my phone to Brian, for him to read my story, and I had nothing to do.
When we arrived, I had to do the first thing you do when you're in a field trip. Chose a person to spend your time with. You might think that this is stupid, but you won't say that if you get bored.
First I thought about going in Jack's group, but then I saw him with Pearl. Of course I wouldn't go in that group. I ended up spending my time with Mary. We talked about lots of things, and a part of me understood why she stopped being Jack's friend. Then I looked at Jack's group. He was with Pearl, and they were on their knees looking into a puddle. I just wanted to grab the bitch by the head and drown her. But I couldn't do that. I decided to focus on the starfish I was holding. It was really cute. And then, I heard someone saying.
"Could you imagine what would be like to be fucked by a starfish?"
"You would probably love it, right Pearl."
"No...maybe."
"Eww. That's disgusting."
Then, I just walked away and avoided her at all cost.
After that, me and Mary just hanged out in the beach. We had to walk on the rocks, and when there was many water between two of them I would grab her hand until she reached the other rock. And then she would help me getting there. I have to admit, we were a great team. Then Alan joined us. I think that he was bored of that group.
We were having a really great time, until...
"Oh my god, Daniel, are you ok?" Mary said, after I slipped in a rock. I didn't fall in the water because Alan grabbed me.
"Yes, I..." I didn't finish my sentence, because I fell again.
"Dan, be careful." Alan said
"I'll try not to slip again."
Then I heard someone laughing. Brian. And Pearl was right next to him, smiling.
"Shattered pearls don't smile."
I loved the rest of the field trip. There was an octopus that grabbed a girl's shoe and we saw lots of living creatures. The only part I didn't like about it was Pearl calling Charles "Charlie"
Talking about Pearl, she went next to me in the way back to school.
It was soooo awkward.
She told me that she was going to give Charles and Alan tips about her sexuality. I really wanted her to do that, because I didn't know how long would I be able to keep that secret.
