THERE WAS ALWAYS something. No one ever seemed to catch a break anymore. It hadn't even been a day since Rick and Shane bought Randell back from their failed mission to drop him off somewhere.

"What's going on?" Asked Ophelia, throwing on a leather jacket as she approached the group surrounding the barn — she'd only just woken up from a nap, so she asked somewhat tiredly.

"Randell's missing." Rick replied, running a hand over his face.

Her eyes quickly landed on the unlocked padlock and the swinging door of the barn. Randell obviously wasn't in there and she sighed heavily — if the boy somehow managed to find his group it was game over.

"How long has he been gone?" She asked, running a hand through her hair.

"It's hard to say." Rick replied. Needless to say, he wished that he hadn't of spared Randell yesterday. He was meant to drop him off with food and supplies. But, after his fight with Shane, things just went pair shaped. Now he — and everyone — was paying for it.

"The cuffs are still hooked. He must've slipped 'em." Daryl said, walking out of the barn.

"Is that possible?" Someone asked in concern.

"It is when you've got nothin' to lose."

Ophelia was about to add something, when she was quickly cut of by a loud voice.

"Rick! Rick!" Said a figure emerging from the woods.

As it got closer, everyone saw that it was Shane limping out of the woods. His face was freshly bleeding and a nasty bruise was forming on his head. Everyone widened their eyes in worry.

"What happened?" Rick asked, as Shane came over, breathing heavily.

"He's armed!" He said, in somewhat panic about Randell. "He's got my gun!"

     "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Little bastard just snuck up on me, he clocked me in the face."

Ophelia eyed Shane suspiciously. She wasn't entirely convinced by his story. Something seemed..off about it.

"Alright, Hershel, T-dog get everybody in the house. Glenn, Daryl and Ophelia come with us." Rick ordered after a moment, before turning to face everyone. "Lock all the doors and stay put!"

Everyone then scurried of back into the farmhouse like spooked cattle, whilst the rest followed Shane into the woods as he pointed over past the trees.
