"HOW LONG HAVE WE been down here?" Asked Ophelia, as she sat down against a wall and rested her aching foot.

"'Bout twenty minutes." Daryl hummed, as he sat a few meters away from her.

They were sat inside of the hospital basement quietly listening to the footsteps off the Woodbury group on the floor above them. They were waiting for them to leave, but it didn't seem like they were going to give up and go off back to their Governor anytime soon.

"Trust us to run into trouble." She said, leaning her head back against the wall.

"We should've just stayed together." Daryl said in annoyance. "We could've been outta here by now."

"Yeah, could've." She hummed. "We should've just hid the car so they wouldn't have known that we were here in the first place."

"Yeah well, ain't no point in goin' round in circles." Daryl dismissed. "We're here now...and we just gotta wait it out."

"Yeah, for how long? There's barely any food stock back at the prison. We can't stay here or they'll all starve." She said worriedly for everybody waiting for them back at the prison.

"I know. But, there ain't anything that we do 'bout it right now." Daryl insisted. "If we take our chances and go back up there, those people will catch us. They'll take our s—t, and they'll take us back to that prick the Governor. The prison won't stand a chance, we're better off stayin' put."

Ophelia nodded hesitantly — she knew that Daryl was right, even though she hated waiting in the basement for the Governors men to leave, when they didn't have any idea when that was going to be. She just wanted to get back to the prison.

"So we've been down here twenty minutes, huh?" She hummed. "Sure feels like we've been down here longer."

Daryl scoffed, making Ophelia furrow her brows at him.

"What?" He said. "Are you talking to me now?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked. "I haven't not been talking to you."

"Oh, really?" He scoffed. "So you ain't been giving me the cold shoulder ever since I got back?"

"I treat you like I treat anybody else."
