 Chapter 30. A Pancake

Trust me, I put a lot of thought into this.

We're done touring, and we have a break, so why not right?

I'm going to uni again.

I have to redo all the things I missed for the last 4 years, but whatever. I want to get a proper education so after One Direction is done, I can do something else. I shouldn't rely on the money I have right now. Eventually, it will all go and where will I be? I don't want to work in some gross job. I want a cool job, that helps me support my future family well.

I already did the tests and everything, now I just have to wait for my results to come back and see if I'm ready for uni. I'm nervous.

" You okay, Niall?" Liam asks.

" No! I'm really nervous! What if I don't get in?" I ask.

" You're fine. You're really smart now! If you don't get in then they're idiots and you're the smart one here, okay?" Liam pouts.

" Yeah, yeah," I pout back. 

I hear the mail man come and I immediately run and get my mail.

Bills, bills, bills, Liam, bills, bills, UNI!

I throw all the bills on the ground and open the envelope sent from the uni.

They accepted me! I'm going to college!

" I GOT IN!" I yell. I hug Liam tightly, even lifting him up from the ground.

" Woah, calm down there Ni," Liam laughs.

I can't believe I'm going to uni! My mum would be so proud.

And so would Moni.

Did I ever tell you what happened with her?

Nothing.

I searched her, found her, but never did anything about it. I even saw her the other day, but I didn't go up to her and talk to her. I was too scared to. I don't know, there's just something teling me not to go talk to her, and I'm trusting that voice in my head.

That wasn't the only time I've seen Moni. I've seen her plenty of times before, but every time, there's something telling me not to go up to her. She seems happy, but at the same time, it looks like she's missing something in her life.

Could it possible be me?

It's my first day of uni. I'm nervous, yet again. I may be busy, but I'm only going here for a month and while I'm on tour, I do my work online. We arranged everything. Sure, I'll be extremely busy, but I think it's worth it.

I walk around campus and everyone is taking pictures of me. Shit. Marcus and Anna promised to meet me here.

" Hey hey hey!" Anna yells, popping beside me.

" Oh hey Ans, how are you?" I ask.

" Good good! Can't wait to be on the news as Niall Horan's new gf," she laughs. I roll my eyes and playfully hit her.

" Where's Marcos?" I ask, using his cute nickname

" He's with his friends talking about how sexy I am," she answers nonchantaly. Oh this girl.

Anna leads me to my class, which really reminds me of the other one.

" Bye Anna! Thanks!" I yell.

" No problemo compadre," she winks. I roll my eyes, even though she doesn't see it.

When I enter, I spot a pretty brunnette already in class, sneakily eating while the teacher isn't looking.

I go and sit next to her and smile.

" What are you doing?" I ask

" Didn't eat breakfast this morning," she says and takes another bite.

" What're you eating?" I ask

" A pancake."

" Cool. By the way, I'm Niall," I say

" I'm Moniren, but my friends call me Moni," she smiles
