Fighting fire with heart

Zane's POV

I looked at Kai from a distance, my heart ached to see how broken he was. " I am going to confront him." I stated.

Kori appeared next to me. *Are you sure? In what form will you come to him?* she asked.

" Kai is a fighter, so I shall come to him as a warrior." I smiled softly, my body changed and my clothes changed into a silver and white ninja gi, and I made sure that my face was completely covered, so that my titanium skin could not be seen. At that moment I jumped off the roof and right in behind Kai.

Kai whipped around. " Who the heck are you?!" he lashed at me. I remained calm.

" I am a warrior, and I am here to help you." I started, changing my voice pattern.

" Right...well good luck with that." Kai turned away and began walking.

" Hey!" I yelled at him. " I am here to fight you!"

Kai stopped. " And why would you do that? I mean you would just lose."

" No, my statics show that I will win because you are not in the right mind." I stated calmly. Kai's eyes began to burn.

" Is that a challenge?" he hissed.

I nodded my head, and got into a battle stance. Kai's eyes burned.

" Araaa!!!" Kai yelled, running towards me with fire burning from his hands. Jumping, he left himself wide open for me to attack.

" You fool!" he yelled. Then by taking his arm I knocked him down to the ground, and pinning him down. " Is that it? The great Fire Master Kai, has been brought down so easily?"

Kai growled, and by setting his body on fire and he knocked me down to my back, as he lunged at me, I quickly head butted him in the chest sending him flying back to the ground. " Ow.." he groaned.

I placed my foot on his throat. " You lost.." I whispered.

Kai growled, and spat on the ground. " Fine, might as well kill me..I don't care anymore!" he spat.

I looked at him, and then took my foot off his throat. " Tomorrow when the the moon is highest, and the next night after that! Come and challenge me, challenge me until you have defeated me with skill and honor. Only then will the fire settle and the anger cease."

Kai sat up. " What?"

" So long, Kai.." I disappeared in the night and left without another word.
