Chapter 12

POV Brooke

"What about you Brooke?" Diaz asked me. I was feeling really awkward with the sight of all those staring faces. "Well uhm, yeah. My mum was a lawyer, she was very strict with everything and my dad was a business man who, I later found out, was corrupt. He was dealing in weapons and he mastered multiple martial arts. I learned my martial art and sniping skills from him and that is the only plus side of him. My mother was becoming a crank so my father shot her. When we were 'safe' in the forest I learned everything to survive. Before all this I was just a regular school girl, I was an A student. Now I have become another person." "Don't you remember that I was in that camp too? We were best friends, until I lost you in that river. I thought you were dead." "I just can't remember you Sam." "She did hurt her head pretty bad, so give her a break Sam" Madison immediately interfered. The other boys all went back to their dorms, but our 'team' went towards the gym. Madison and I looked at each other, we had no idea what we were doing here. Diaz soon answered our unasked question. He grabbed a stick and hit us with it. "What the hell Diaz?!" Madison was angry now. I quickly jumped aside and jumped in the air to kick him in the face, when Hugo slammed me into the ground. "Better luck next time princess" O hell no, he doesn't get to call me princess. I stood up, tackled him and grabbed his throat. "Don't ever call me that again" I let him go. "Well someone's in a bad mood" "Oh shut it Cain" Madison replied. I grinned and walked towards Hugo. "Well come on then, you're not afraid are you?" I dared him. He didn't hesitate or held back when he punched me in the face. I ducked towards the ground and kicked him in the nuts. I rolled away from him and launched myself towards him. I jumped and kicked him right in tha face and landed perfectly on two feet. Hugo stood up and slid through my legs while grabbing one. I fell on my back and wrapped my legs around his neck, while holding his right arm behind his back. He knocked two times on the floor and I let go. Madison threw a tissue, and I wiped my bloody nose clean. Madison and I did our little victory dance. "Princess has got some skills" "Of course she can, was your head stuck in your ass ten minutes long?" Madison was being Madison again. I laughed. "Madison and Cain southern ring and Hugo and Brooke eastern ring. Tomorrow at 6 am here. Now go and get some sleep. Brooke, stay. I want to talk to you about something." I looked to Madison and nodded that I was going to be okay. She left with the boys and waited outside. "As you have noticed Sam is a bit confused and upset. You are the cause of this. I want you to try and remember." "With all the respect sir, I haven't been able to remember anything in months, what makes you so sure I can now?" "I can help you to remember, but you need to trust me in order for me to help you. Go and sleep a night over this" I walked away, what made him think that he was able to help me. Jeez, these people are weird. "Lets go guys, I'm done for the day." This was the que for them to leave it alone, for now at least.

We were walking towards our dorm when threerandom guys came out of nowhere. "Well, well look who we have here. Twobeautiful girls, but yet so vulnerable." "Shut it Tymon, go annoy someoneelse." "Ahw is Hugo getting angry? Why do you even care, they are way to prettyfor you." "U little dipshits, leave us alone. We are not interested in any ofyou" "A feisty one are you eh? Brooke is the name, am I right?" "Back off andleave while you still can. Cause I can promise you, you won't be able to if youstay here any longer." Madison was pissed right now. Cain and Hugo werestanding protectively in front of us but we pushed them aside. "We don't needbabysitters" I said to the boys. They replied with putting their hands in theair as a 'suit yourselves'. "Come on pretty girls, we don't bite... yet" Madisonwas triggered by this and she launched herself towards him and knocked Tymonunconscious. "Anybody else who wants to go sleep?!" the two other boys grabbedtheir leader and dragged him away. I hurried towards Madison. "Mad? You okay?"she nodded and we went in our dorm. "I can't wait to go and sleep, I'm tired ashell" I took off my clothes and put on my pajamas. "Well uhm girls, you know weare still here right. I mean I am gay but Hugo and Cain aren't" said Samcautiously. "Well we can go in the bathroom and change if you like it betterthat way" "No complaining from my side, Hugo?" Cain asked amused "Uhm nope, I'mwith Cain, if you guys are okay with it." I shrugged and went into bed. I thinkI fell almost immediately in a restless sleep. I had the same nightmares asalways. About cranks, those men in the store, the lifeless body of my motherafter my dad shot her and sometimes just the color black, nothing else, just meand the endless black
