The Hanahaki disease is an illness born from one-sided love, where the patient throws up and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from said one-sided love. This disease can become fatal if it is left for too long. There are only two ways of getting rid of this disease
1. The person who you love begins to return the feelings. A flower representing that love will be coughed up. That will be the last time you will experience Hanahaki.
2. You can get surgery to remove the Disease. This, however, will remove all feelings for the person you loved.
