"Okay, sorry. Nabenta na ba? I just enjoyed your interactions with Richard earlier. If you could have seen your eyes. They are twinkling, shining, shimmering splendid."

"Please Tita, let's just stop this."

"Ok, fine. Pero aminin mo, hindi ka ba natunaw sa tingin niya?" Maine momentarily glared at her before schooling her features. "Okay, okay, tatahimik na ko. Ang sungit naman nito. Sino ba mas matanda sa 'tin?"

30 minutes nang nakatingin si Richard sa monitor niya pero iisang linya pa lang sa AutoCAD drawing ang nababago niya. Maya-maya ay tinitingnan din niya ang kanang kamay niya na hanggang ngayon ay nararamdaman pa rin ang handshake kanina.

Kung makakapatay lang ang tingin, siguro nasa morge na ko ngayon sa talas ng tingin niya. Ano ba ang nakain ko at hindi ko agad binitawan ang kamay niya? Bakit kasi ayaw niyang ngumiti? Ano problema niya?

Hindi pa kaya ulit sila tumatawag? Ako kaya mag-offer ng mekanikong titingin? Magkikita pa kaya kami? Ni hindi ko man lang nakuha last name niya.

A/N: Ngingiti siya pero wala kang commission pag nabenta yung kotse. Ano, Tisoy payag ka?

"Tisoy, pinapatawag ka ni Chief." Walang sagot. "Huy, Faulkerson! Narinig mo ba ko?"

"Ha? Sino sa inyo nagsumbong na late ako kanina?"

"Guilty ka agad eh, puntahan mo muna sa office niya. Nagba-blush na yang monitor mo oh, kanina mo pa tinititigan."

Nabigla si Tisoy sa ibinalita ng Division Head nila nang pumunta siya sa office nito. Inabot sa kanya ang official notice na nagpopromote sa kaniya sa level na Draftsman 3.

"Hindi po kayo nagbibiro?"

"No, it's all there in the letter. It was actually your presentation that clinched the deal. You showed maturity in how you handled that assignment. I liked that you went the extra mile to try and understand the project and went out of your way to visit the site to verify your assessment. You did not also back down when I questioned your decision."

"Ganon din po siguro yung gagawin ng iba."

"I doubt it. Not everyone will do that. You did more than what was expected of you. We need more people like you. Congratulations!"

"Thank you, sir. Sana po I can live up to your expectations. Ano po ang mababago po ba sa mga responsibilities ko?" Magkano po kaya madadagdag sa suweldo ko?

"Technically, you'll be handling bigger and more difficult assignments. You will also be expected to lead junior draftsmen in large projects and do occasional field work to assist our engineers. You are also expected to mentor and coach trainees. Kaya lang..."
