Chapter 10

Hellicarrier

Tony's POV

When Loki had suggested we go see her, Fury had given them all the longest lecture Tony had even heard about what they weren't allowed to do around her and a lot of other stuff Tony didn't listen to. He had actually fallen asleep.

After Steve had woken up Tony, rather gruffly he thought, Fury had led them all to the cell she was being kept in. No one said a word during those few minutes. Tony thought about how weird it would be for Loki since he was the last one if the cell and the situation was reversed. Tony was actually fine with Loki being here, believe it or not. He could tell the others weren't. No, Tony hadn't forgiven Loki for destroying New York and his tower, but it had let it go. Tony believed Thor when he said that Loki was a little sorry, but Loki would probably be better than Thor helping with Katherine. And Tony understood that.

When we had arrived Tony couldn't help but chuckle as Katherine was fogging up the glass with her breath and drawing a picture, in an extremely childish way.

When we got closer Tony could see that her drawing was a stick man with devil horns and a pitch fork. Above it was the name NICK FURY. When she saw Fury walk in she quickly rubbed it off with her sleeve and walked back in to the middle of the cell with her hands behind her back as if saying I didn't do nothing. A defiant grin spread across her face. Tony was already forming pranks for them to do together.

That is if Fury decides to let her join the Avengers, would he even consider it? He would bring this up later, Tony decided.

She looked tired and dirty. Her brown pants patched with drops of red and her blue hoodie had a huge red stain from her gun shot. Her skin was also very pale and she didn't look very well. Tony wondered why no one had thought to give her cleaner clothes, it probably wasn't to good in dirty clothes when you had fresh wounds.

The Avengers all stood to one side of the room while Fury and Thor stood on either side of Loki who stood directly in front of the glass cells sealed doors.

"Who is he?" Katherine asked pointing at Loki. Everyone looked a tad puzzled. Tony had forgotten she had not met Loki and it seemed that everyone had thought the same.

"Oh, yes this is Loki, Thor's brother." Fury declared. His voice, as always, was clean and sharp. His face showing no emotion. Tony saw as Loki winced at the word brother and Tony saw Thor freeze and take a glance at Loki cautiously. Tony could see they were still working on that. Without waiting Loki stepped closer to the cell peering in at Katherine.

"Where is Katherine's staff?" He asked slowly turning to Fury.

"Blah! Why does everyone call me that!" Katherine shouted, clearly annoyed, "Call me Kat, PLEASE. I do not go by that name anymore."

"Why not?" Tony asked. Out of the corner of his eye his saw Fury glare in his direction. He didn't care if he was not supposed to ask questions or not. Fury couldn't never stop him before what was going to change now?

"It's a horrid name and bad memories." She said slightly smiling and looking away from the group. But the smile didn't reach her eyes. She looked up suddenly.

"My staff!" She exclaimed a huge grin playing on her face.

Tony looked around expecting to see someone holding it but it wasn't until about 5 seconds later Tony saw the iron doors slide open and one of Fury's agents walking in with her staff.

How could she tell if was here if she couldn't see it? Must have some sort of connection or something. Maybe I can find some stuff out about her stick. Tony wondered. But before Tony could even open his mouth Fury glared at him.
