Decided that I will really only do Kat's POV from now on as that was what I really was supposed to do from the start and I've only done maybe 3 or 4. So only sometimes will others have a POV and maybe only a short one.

Chapter 15

Kat's POV

As the words left her mouth she regretted it. But she still didn't in a way. The least they could do was stop staring. Didn't any of them know it wasn't very gentlemen-like of them? She expected maybe Tony or even Loki or Clint but the whole bloody lot?

While she had been away she had spent as much time as possible researching the Avengers. While in Mexico she had been able to visit one of her good mates Glen Whitman who helped her hack the required S.H.E.I.L.D files which was a big help when she wanted to know about the Asgardian brothers. She could have done it alone but she hadn't seen Glen in 4 years and he was always fun to visit. He was the one who taught her how to hack and not get caught at it and because of him it had probably saved her life more than once.

She heard Tony chuckle as she continued down to the workshop of his and wonders how much he had read. She watched him carefully as he went to the back of the room to a book shelf, which in her opinion was not really one at all. It was filled with all sorts of tools and wires.

"I guess you want the book back?" Tony asked softly and sneaked a glance back at Kat who nodded.

"Well, just in my own deference I only read a bit and I brought it back here so no one else would read it." Tony said quickly shielding his face as if she was going to hit him. Kat only chuckled and shook her head wounding if he really did think she was going to hit him.

"It's fine but you cannot tell anyone about the book some things in there are not for human eyes." She said lifting herself up onto the countertop. She noticed how he stopped suddenly when she said human only to pass it by continuing again. She started to subconsciously rub her hands along the cool pale wood running her fingers over the familiar twists of wood.

"Now, how far did you read?" She began watching as Tony pressed his hand against the back of the self. He shuffled through a few things until he found her blue iPod and silently passed it to her.

"Uhh more than I should have. I read about the friends in South Africa, France and Mexico." Tony said going back to the glowing square that had appeared on the shelf-wall. Kat then back against the bench.

"I thought I lost this! Oh my god thank you Tony, I just downloaded like 30 songs on here before you guys came, you have no idea how happy I am to see this." Kat said smiling going through the songs again.

"Haha, I knew you would be glad I had it, but aren't you mad?" Tony asked watching Kat carefully.

"Na, its fine Tony, there are much worse things you could know." Kat said making small snowflakes float above her hand watching and they swirled up and around her fingers.

"Would you still like to use the verbal password Sir?" Jarvis inquired from the walls.

"Yeah, okay. Cats rock." Tony said turning so Kat couldn't see his grinning but embarrassed face, though all Kat did was smile lightly.

"What? No one would ever guess it." Tony said reaching his hand inside the hole in the wall where the book was kept. Kat, still giggling, watched as his hand brought out the familiar black and tattered book and box slowing passing it back to her open hands.

"I don't disagree. Hey, thanks Tony you actually have no idea what this would mean if someone other than you got hold of this." Kat thanked him still not opening the book.
