Alexis Tyler and Lauren Jauregui were roommates in LA, they had moved from Miami to LA to pursue their careers in their industries, Lauren as 1/4 of Fifth Harmony; and Alexis doing voice work for Cartoon Network's Steven Universe, she was the voice of Peridot and absolutely loved it.

I sigh as I step out of the booth and finally let out my giggle, but sobered up when I saw Zach waiting for me.

"You done? I'm starving?" He asked and I sighed, nodding, taking my 'boyfriend's' hand as we walked out to his car. We weren't really dating and it wasn't a publicity stunt, it's just that he and I used to be so close that everyone thought we were dating, so we pretended to date, and now he acts like an abusive ass because every time I try to call of the little prank, he changes the subject.

After eating, I told him to take me home because I was done recording for the day and I knew he was only out and about because the cast was on lunch. I'd usually stick around, but My roommate was coming home from spending a month in Miami after finishing her tour, when I got to my porch, I jumped when I saw Camila sitting there. She looked up at me and smiled as I shuffled into the house, she of course followed because she knew she was invited in.

"So what's up." I say as I set my bag down on the counter that separates the kitchen from the living room as I pass it.

"Just thought I'd visit before Lauren got back because I know you're picking her up."

"I'm actually not. She drove herself. So she's driving home."

"Oh." Camila says as I turn to her and she smiles. "So how are you and Zach?"

"Still not dating. How many times do I have to tell you?" I ask and she chuckles.

"I know. I just find it cute when you get annoyed." She says and I look at the bruise from the other day when I tried going to lunch with Estelle, DeeDee, and Michaela instead of with Zach. I look back at Camila and hide it by pulling my sleeves down.

After a few hours, Camila had left and I was laying on the couch just waiting for Lauren so I could jump on her and hug her tight because I missed my roommate like a dog misses their owner. Like Pearl misses Rose, wait, no, Lauren's only my best friend. So just the dog analogy.

"Lexis!" I jump awake and groan as I hit the floor and look up to meet emerald eyes I missed dearly as they shine happy while Lauren giggles. She bends down and hugs me tight while helping me onto my feet. When she pulls away from the hug, I hug her tight again and hide my face against her collarbone.

Later that night, Lauren and I are watching some wacky movie that I'm not paying attention to because well, I slept through most of it and the rest of the time I was shamelessly reading Fifth Harmony and Steven Universe fan fictions. When I finish a Laurinah Oneshot, I look up at Lauren because we were cuddling. Upon a simultaneous request from both of us. She smiles at me and laughs.

"You didn't even watch the movie."

"I don't care."

"Why?"

"The movie is stupid?"

"How is Lion King stupid?" She asks and I roll my eyes.

"I didn't mean to say that. I didn't know you were watching Lion King. But you know my stance on Lion King after my ex."

"True. What were you reading?" Lauren asks and I lock my phone as she goes to grab it and blush as she turns the screen on and sees the picture of Lauren on stage in Denver for the 7/27 tour and me down in the front row pointing at her like a fan. "Aw. That's cute." Lauren says and I feel myself blush even more as she opens the camera and takes a stunning af selfie before taking a couple with me, one with her kissing my cheek as I continue to blush and another where she's just laying her head on my shoulder, I automatically decide to set that as my back grounds if she chooses a different one, which she doesn't. "Cutest best friends ever." Lauren says before looking at me. "Right. I'm gonna find out what you were reading." Lauren says before opening my phone. Shit. I forgot to change my passcode after the last time. I guess though, 'Peridot' is kinda fuckin obvious. I sigh as my phone opens to Wattpad and give up to think of new pass codes while Lauren scrolls through my library. "Lauren/You fanfics? Lex? You got something to confess?" Lauren asks and I shake my head
