Chapter Thirteen

Luciana was in the room when Alvarez entered, she knew better not to talk with him whenever he was angry but she wanted to comfort him cos she knew he was hurting. She went over to him where he was packing his cloths and started helping him pack "you don't have to " Alvarez said not looking at her.
"But I want to, stop blaming yourself, it wasn't your fault they ended up that way "
He stopped packing to look at her "She saved Ruby and the least i could had done was to save them.
"And you did that, that was why you didn't come back with Aldo, you saved them"
"It was only the child that was lucky, her mother wasn't, she died" Alvarez said with a bitter expression
"Where is she buried?"
"Her body disappeared and hasn't been found"
"Are you sure she died"
"She was shot thrice and when i took the child out she was already pale with no pulse"
"Do you think Aldo is behind.....
"I don't care, he can be the boss now cos am leaving and you're coming with me but you can stay if you wish to " Alvarez said studying her intensely
"You'll never be accepted back once you leave all.......
"And who cares, I wanna get the hell outta here, you can stay if want to " Alvarez said half yelling
"Do you love her that much?" Luciana said feeling a little bit hurt.
"Am sorry for yelling  but am leaving "
"What about those kids?"
"Francesco would take care of them, pack your things if you're coming along" Alvarez said before leaving the room.
"Well, well, well, who do we have here?, Mr Delgado may I ask to what do I owe this pleasant surprise?"
"You had something that belongs to me, as you know Fabian, I don't share my things '
"People might start to get the wrong idea when you call me Like  that ,we are rivals remember?"
"You wish, Delgado rules and it's gonna be like that, get that you bastard "
"You never change do you? Fabian said bringing out his gun and pointing it towards Alvarez.
"Get a life man, she's dying "
"And since when does the Delgado's care about a life, first of all you came to my house, killed my men, released my prisoners and you talk about a life?" Fabian said getting annoyed
"Then what the hell do you want?"
"To pull this into your f*cking  brain "
"Killing a man not harmed has no pride you know, you can take me but this child is gonna die, for crying out loud you were once a father "
Fabian's hold tightened on the gun "shut it, don't repeat that again you Bastard" Fabian yelled
"Then save the damn child" Alvarez yelled back at him
Fabian brought out his phone and  typed few things before returning it.
"Drop the child someone will attend to her soon"
Alvarez dropped the child on the bench
"You better have a good excuse Delgado" Fabian said returning his gun to his jacket
"I owe you no explanation Jimenez"
"Off course you do, first you barged into my property, killed my men and released my prisoners"
"What do you want?"
"You know what I want, I want Ruby"
"And do you think am gonna let you have my sister?,you can do whatever you want to me but you know you're not gonna get away with it"
Just then one of Fabian's men came
"The body is missing?" The man said looking at Fabian
"Did you check the footage?"
"Yes, two men who were completely dressed in black made their way in but destroyed the cctv footage"
"Find the body" Alvarez roared
Fabian turned to look at him "I give the orders here, (to the man)  take the child in and get her treated"
"But she......
"Have doctor Rodriguez attend to her "
"Yes boss" the man said before carrying velvet softly away.
"Where is she?" Alvarez demanded
"I should ask you that Delgado, did you plan it"
"And why would I?"
Fabian brought out the gun he was with earlier "I don't know  her so I care less, but you are gonna return those kids"
"You are trafficking them out and you expect me to do nothing?"
"We don't betray or interfere in others business or is your memory that  blurred.
"You wanted to kidnap Ruby"
"She's my wife"
"She's not and she'll never be I'll pay for those kids"
Fabian started laughing "the very reason I like Delgado's is that they don't fail to display their wealth"
"How much do you want?"
"I want my investment back"
"You'll get it in two days"
"Even at that you can't go yet, you have to fight with me"
"Is that what you want?"
"Why not?, or are you scared you'll lose to me again?"
"Scared?" Alvarez said with a chuckle "if you lose what's gonna happen?"
"I'll let you go with the child"
"Fine let's do that"
