I walked into work the next morning with a major headache making sure to blame Angeline over text as I made me way up to the office. Our agency had a couple floors to themselves in a big corporal building so I usually took the stairs but today was one of those elevator days.

Without looking up from my phone I continued texting only to be interrupted by someone saying hello. I looked up to see Alex and I wasn't a good enough actress to hide my unhappiness.

"Alex, you're here?" It wasn't a question more of a plea for me to be insane and seeing things rather than him being in front of me.

"I am this is still my agency and I've got some lads coming in as well later. You'll have your hands full all day." He grinned and I faked a smile back.

"Great! Hopefully my hangover doesn't kill me first." I joked wanting to jump out of the elevator and somehow come to an end. Alex laughed and started talking about some soccer game to which I tuned out of.

Finally, after what felt like 37 years, we made it to the floor and I said goodbye before rushing to my office. He had to talk to my boss before talking to me so I had some time to regain sanity. I quickly called Angeline and asked for her advice.

"What the fuck am I supposed to do?" I hissed into the phone as I heard him speaking to my boss.

"I'll keep you in my prayers for now just do your job and if he becomes to intolerable just create a pregnancy scare or alleged drug problem for him." She made me laugh which I appreciated so I jokingly agreed to her propositions and put down my phone just in time for my boss to knock at my door.

"Ivy you have new clients coming in starting at quarter to 10. They're all footballers." She gave me a smile that meant good luck as she and I both knew footballers were the most demanding. She didn't mention Alex which meant she probably handed him over to another manager. Thankfully my boss, Cynthia, was pretty understanding and had come to dislike Alex after what he did to me.

"Great thanks Cynthia." I had enough to mentally prepare and figure out what I would say to everything dumbass thing I would be told. My job was to subdue scandals and create good publicity for each up and coming athlete, celebrity, and star, whether this was fake relationships or charity events, I dealt with it all, making the biggest assholes of mankind look like saints.

It was approaching 10 so I made my office more presentable and just as I was about to sit down the door opened. I turned around to see one tall, dirty blonde that I unfortunately recognized.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I glared at him, of course it was the asshole who walked into me from the night before. With my luck all my exes may as well show up and make my life more miserable.

"Well fuck this is a coincidence. I guess I'm your new client, let's get this over with shall we?" He sat down in the chair across from mine behind my desk and I rolled my eyes but took a seat.

"Alright name?" I asked trying to fill out the new client form as soon as possible and getting the meeting over with.

"Simon Minter. Being that I'm not pissed anymore I can tell you're from America."

"Birthdate?" I ignored his comments and just went on

"September 7th, 97'. Where in America are you from? New York, Tennessee, oh wait you can't be southern, southern people have manners." He said nonchalantly looking around my room and he was trying to piss me off and it worked.

"Listen up dickwad, I know you're my client but that doesn't allow you to make broad generalizations and act like a complete imbecile so let's just get this meeting over with okay?" He seemed surprised and even chuckled at me saying dickwad. I took a deep exhale before returning to filling out the form.

"Okay deal. You're pretty hot when you're angry." I clenched my jaw but didn't say anything. I had to fill out some stuff by myself and decided I'd rather take my chances googling some of the questions than asking him.

"Last but not least, what are your secrets? The bad ones, all of them." I crossed my arms across my chest and looked at him straight in his insanely blue eyes.

"Buy me dinner first love." He leaned back mirroring my posture and smirked. I narrowed my eyes and thought I would love to get rid of that annoying smirk.

"Listen you're my client so I can't help you if you're not going to cooperate." I tried being calm, he didn't seem to be affected by this, fine being rude might work better.

"Come to my party this Saturday and I'll tell you afterwards." He was trying to control me and I hated it. Why we're the attractive, talented ones always assholes? Did I say he was attractive? Well I'm angry not blind.

"You little manipulating piece of sh-" I was cut off by my door swinging upon to reveal my boss. Immediately I changed my appearance and finished the sentence, "-ame to hear about that." He chuckled at this but luckily Cynthia didn't notice as she approached.

"Hello Mr. Minter, I'm Cynthia it's a pleasure to meet you! Ivy is our best so I assure you you're in good hands." She shook his hand and suddenly he transformed into a gentleman. Even smiling warmly at her.

"It's nice to meet you too, Cynthia. Ivy is perfect, I'm sure I'm in good hands." He gave her a dazzling smile and winked at me. I disguised my disgust and anger with an equally fake smile.

"That's great news! Your satisfaction is very important to us, right Ivy?" I nodded enthusiastically, Cynthia had never interrupted my meetings to meet a client so Simon Minter was probably a special case, which meant I had to do everything to keep him, "satisfied," as she put it out. It seemed he had realized this too as Cynthia left, grinning wide like he won a trophy.

"So Saturday?" Despite my every desire I nodded knowing I couldn't mess things up for Cynthia.

"I have a feeling we're gonna have fun together, Ivy." He said my name slowly and I sighed relief when he was out the door. I had a feeling Simon Minter would be the end of me.
