A few minutes later I walk back out and sigh. Where were these two boys? They couldn’t have left? Could they? Owen was leaning against the wall, his head lowered and his hair brushing against his forehead.

"They aren’t in there."

He nodded and pushed off the wall. "Now where?"

"Back to the food court I guess." He walked ahead of me, towards the lift, and looked over his shoulder, raising his eyebrow.

"What?"

"Why are you sulking behind me?" A frown appeared on his face.

"What's bothering you?" I ask.

"Nothing," he said, looking away and pressing the button for the lift.

"Honestly?"

He shrugged and didn't say anything.

"Are you mad at me?" He shook his head and held the door open when it tried to shut on a lady coming out of the lift. "Okay then." We stepped into the lift and stood in silence while the lift doors slid shut.

"Why are you being so quiet?"

"No reason," he said, looking at his reflection in the mirror. It made me wish other people were in here with us, listening to them talking away while we stood in silence. I nod. I watched him as he tried to flatten a piece of sticking up hair. I wanted to kiss him but I told him earlier he couldn't kiss me. Oh screw it. I kiss him. His back hit the side of the lift and he wrapped his arms around me. I giggle and kiss him once more. He kissed me back hesitantly at first, as if I was going to push him away like last time.

"Will you tell me what's wrong?" I whisper.

"Nothing is wrong," he murmured, his eyes still on my lips.

"Okay."

"Kiss me," he said, his nose lightly nudging mine. I move closer to him. He pressed his lips to mine and lifts my arms to wrap them around his neck. I smile against his lips. I could feel a smile spread across his face as I kissed along his jaw. He pulls me closer. I lightly tug on his hair as I kiss him. That only makes him pull me closer. The sound of his groaning echoed around the lift as his hands slid down to my thighs. I really should stop him. He turned so I was leaning against the wall. I smiled as he kissed along to my ear and whispered.

"I love you Lani-bear."

I breathed out and moved my head closer to his ear. "I love you, too, Owen." He smiles and wraps his arms around me and we walk out. I couldn't keep the smile off my face as we walked towards our original table near McDonalds. I sit down.

"Someone looks happy," Jake said, appearing behind Owen, making him jump.

"Yup."

His cheeky smile was directed at Owen next. "And why is that?"

"I just am." I say. "I dont have to have a reason."

Jake rolled his eyes and lightly punched Owen's arm. "You guys done? I want to head home."

"Yeah. Where's El?" I ask.

"He went into a shop near the front," he told me, helping me up.

"Okay, and thanks." We walked silently back to his car, all of us lost in our own thoughts. I cant help but wonder if El is okay. Elliott joined us before we went to our separate cars, I pulled him to the side and asked him what was wrong.

"I'm fine."

"El."

He met my gaze. "What?"

"Tell me what is wrong," I said softly, lightly touching his cheek.
