I walk up to his house and what I see just about breaks my heart. I walk backwards and press my lips into a thin line, making sure I don't make a noise. With my luck I trip on something and fall. I felt a sob escape my lips, why did I have to fall? I pushed myself up and cried out, my wrist. I grab my wrist and hold it. It hurts so much. The sound of someone walking down the steps to me made me open my squeezed shut eyes and look up.

"Lani." Owen says.

I start crying. "Just go back to your girlfriend!" I yell.

"Come on, get up. We need to take you to the hospital," he tells me, ignoring my protests.

"No! Dont touch me!" I yell. "Don't fucking touch me!"

"Lani-bear," Owen grabbed my hands as I tried to hit him. "Lani-bear! Will you listen to me?" He held my chin and made me look at him. "We are going to the hospital, whether you want me there or not."

I pull away. "I told you not to touch me!"

"I've touched you plenty of times," he said, narrowing his eyes. "This one time won't make a fucking difference. Now, stop fighting me or I will carry you to the hospital."

I glare at him and pull away again.

He stood up straight. "Fine. Be like this to me, but don't you care that you could have harmed the baby when you fell over?"

"Yes I care!" I snap.

"Then get up, forget about your dislike for me and let me take you to the hospital!" He snapped, his hands tightening into fists.

"I can't get up!" I snap at him again.

"Don't you think I tried to help you stand up?" He asked, looking down at me. "You don't want me to touch you, how can I do anything to help?" I grab onto the fence that is near me and pull myself up with a struggle.

He narrowed his eyes again before walking towards his car. "Get in," he said, opening the door for me. I get in without saying a word. I look over at the porch, frowning. Erica is standing there smirking.

"Why is she here?" I asked him as we pulled out of his driveway, I flipped her off which made her smile drop quickly.

"She came to talk."

"About what?" I asked, folding my arms over my chest and resting my head back.

"Everything."

I gritted my teeth. "Since when do you talk with your mouths connected?" I asked him, glaring out the car window so I didn't have to look at him. He doesn’t say anything. I shook my head. "I was right after all," I said. "Now I don't regret what I said to my mum."

"Lani..."

"No, Owen, dont even say anything."

"No," he snapped. "I'm not going to stop talking. Tell me, why was you coming to mine anyway? Since you basically don't want anything to do with me."

"I wanted to know what you and my dad were talking about since he wouldn’t tell me."

I could see him looking at me from the corner of his eye. "Why wouldn't he tell you?"

"I dont know."

We pulled to a stop in the hospital parking lot. "Come on," he muttered, getting out of the car. I get out and follow him. "Hello," he greeted the nurse behind the desk. "My..." he looked over his shoulder at me. "She fell over; she hurt her wrist and she's pregnant."

"I'm just over five months." I tell the nurse. He can't even remember?

She nodded. "Okay, I'll call a doctor down to see you." Owen walked over to the seats and dropped down, head going into his hands. I walk over to him and sit down, not saying anything. Time ticked by slowly, I would shoot him a look every so often but he didn't lift his head up, not once. A doctor comes up to me.
