"Emma! Emma! Emma! Wakey, wakye eggs and bacey!"

"Go away Niall!" I groaned, rolling over in my bed.

"No! It't time to get up!"

"How did you even get in here!?" I asked, sitting up to see Niall smiling right beside my bed.

"Harry sent me to get you! We are going out for breakfast!"

"What time is it?" I yawned, stretching my arms.

"Nine."

"Damn." I sighed, crawling out of bed. "Now shoo so I can get dressed!"

Niall rolled his eyes as I pushed him out of the door, calling, "You have ten minutes!" as I slammed the door in his face.

I grab my phone, answering a text from Ally and throwing on a pair of jeans and a shirt, brushing my hair and teeth as Niall bangs on the door yelling that it has already been fifteen minutes.

I grabbed my purse, opening the door and rolling my eyes as Niall ends mid-knock. "You know if you keep doing that your eyes will stay like that forever!"

"Being around you guys for six months and they probably will!" I said, walking past him to the elevator.

Niall rolled his eyes and I smirked, "Who is Ally?"

"My best friend."

"I thought Harry was?"

"He is, but like, my guy best friend. You know?"

"No."

"You are a guy, you wouldn't know." I laughed.

"Harry really likes you." Niall suddenly said.

I looked at him, frowning, "Well, he is my best friend. I would hope so."

Niall just shakes his head, opening his mouth but the door opened showing Liam and Harry sitting in the lobby.

"Where is Louis?"

"Talking to- "

"Sorry, I'm here."

"Ready to go?" Liam asked.

We all nodded, following him out with a body guard behind us. We didn't want him coming alone but we were forced.

We took two cars because we wouldn't all fit in one and drove to a small diner a couple blocks away. Luckily when we got there no one had found out yet so we walked in without being mobbed.

We sat in the back, not that it mattered, the only people in the restaurant were an old couple, a young woman with a baby and a man in his mid-forties typing away on his blackberry.

"What can I get you?" the waitress, a woman who looked about 24, with 'Karen' on her name tag, smiled.

"I'll have the banana pancakes." Louis smiled kindly, handing back the menu.

"Bacon and eggs." Liam ordered.

"How would you like your eggs?"

"Scrambled."

"And your toast?"

"Toasted?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

She laughed, "White, whole wheat or rye?"

"Ohhhh!" Liam blushed. "White please."

"Ok," she smiled nicely, looking to Niall.

"Chocolate chip pancakes please."

She nodded and looked at Zayn, "Omelette."

"And for you love?"

"Um, I'll have the french toast."

"Of course. And you?"

"I'll have the same." Harry said, handing over his menu.

"Awesome. And to drink? We have tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, cranberry juice and apple juice."

Everyone said apple juice except me, "Cranberry juice please."

She chuckled and nodded.

"Cranberry juice?" Niall questioned.

"Isn't that for old people?" Zayn chuckled.

"No! It is good!"

"Whatever you say love!" Harry laughed. I rolled my eyes, picking up the crayons and drawing on the paper mazes they give out.

"Are you coming today?" Zayn asked, as Karen brought over our drinks, informing us it will be a few minutes until our food gets here.

"I thought you didn't have any concerts tonight?" I frowned, "The next one is on Manchester."

"No, the video shoot."

"I thought you shot most of them in America?"

"Well little miss fangirl, we are switching it up a bit." Louis winked.

We ate in silence, most of us too engaged in our delicious food to bother with making conversation.

We paid and walked out to the parking lot. "Actually, I think I'll walk, Em you want to come?" Harry asked.

"No. You aren't going alone." the body guard said.

"Oh come on, please! It's a Wednesday! Everyone is in school!" Harry pleaded.

"Fine. Keep your phone on."

Harry smiled like he won the lottery, grabbing my wrist and pulling me outside, waving the guys as they piled into the cars as took off down the street.

"You know its like a 15 minute drive, this walk is going to take forever!" I laughed.

"I like spending time with you." Harry blushed, Wait did Harry just actually blush?

I shyly smile up at him, I know he says that now, but what about in three months when he gets bored of me? What will I do then? I will be left, again, with a broken heart and scars.

Her smile wasn't real. It didn't reach her eyes. Her eyes didn't light up like you had just given her a puppy, her teeth didn't peak out behind her red lips. She didn't laugh or chuckle. It's like her smile is dead. Like it has been dead for a while now.

"Em, can we talk about yesterday-"

"No. I have talked about it enough,"

"Emma-"

"Harry please drop it. They were assholes. They treated me like shit. Made me feel worthless and not good enough, it's behind me. Can we move on now?"

She is lying. She won't make eye contact, her is opening and closing her fists and her eyebrows are moving. She is not ok. She beaten and bruised. Her heart took a beating worse than any fist fight I have ever seen. She keeps it all locked away, deep in her heart. She doesn't let anyone in far enough to unlock it.

"Ok." I sighed. We were quiet for a long time before Emma finally broke the silence. "I'm excited to watch the video." she said, her eyes locked in the cement under her feet as we turned the corner, the hotel in our sights.

"Me too." I smiled.

A/N:

Sorry it has been forever, I'm trying to deal with a bunch of stuff. I hope you understand.

Thanks :)
