On The Way To Fame

Chapter 6

      *Monday*
I got a text from Paige it said,
This morning we can't pick you up but I will be at the gym!!! I ran down stairs to tell Mom. Mom, Paige can't pick me up so can you take me? "Absolutely!!! Her mother already told me that they were running late today." She said. Go get in the car, i'm going to get Lea really quick!! "Ok!" I replied as I went out the garage door.

A few minutes later Mom came running out holding Lea. "We need to get going or we're gonna to be late to!" She said.

Once we arrived at my gym, my mom came in to talk to Ashley about me moving up to level eight. (When I was sick Ashley called and told my mom I was ready to be moved up.) The front desk lady gave my mom the paper to sign. "All right Laura, the level eights are by the bar go join them!" She said after my mom gave her back the paper.

When I was walking to the bar, I saw Paige on vault. I totally forgot to tell her!!!!!! Paige ran over to me. "Before you tell me you're so sorry, I already know you're with the level eights now Ashley told us." She said. "Oh my gosh I'm such a bad friend, I was going to tell you on FaceTime but I forgot!! "Don't worry I'm not mad at you! You deserve it more than anyone!" She said. "Really?" Yes! I'm pretty sure everyone knew you were going to be moved up after that routine!!!
"But we won't be able to compete together anymore!! I said. "So what, we see each other almost every day!!" That's true. I replied.

When me and Paige were done talking, I got in line to practice my bar routine. The level eights were pretty good some skills they had, I didn't even know how to do. Rachel, one of my friends I knew before I was homeschooled came up to me. "Hey Laura i'm excited that you're on our team!" She said. "Thanks, i'm a little worried because I don't know how to do those skills that you just did!" "No worries our coach will make sure you're caught up with us." Said Rachel. I smiled and did a Kip onto the bar then a front hip Circle and lunged onto the high bar after that I did five Giants. Since this was my bar routine from last meet, I decided I would add a harder skill. I twisted back onto the small bar and then jumped back onto the high bar for my dismount. I did a flyaway and stuck it.

When warm-up time was done our coach came. Her name was Gianna. Gianna had dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was short unlike Ashley. I'm pretty sure I was the same size as her but I was short to.

We practiced on bar then we did beam, floor, and valt. All of it seemed to go by slower than usual. I think it was because this class was harder.

Paige's mom dropped me off at my house A little later than usual because me and Paige went shopping for a new leotards (with our own money) I got a beautiful longsleeved blue leotard, it had green and yellow stripes on the chest. Paige got a leotard with long sleeves and an American flag design. It was a perfect ending to our night.

BTW the leotard on the top is Laura's. And the leotard on chapter 5 is Paige's. Sorry I changed chapter six and seven I didn't like the way it was going. None of the girls in the pictures. Are Laura or Paige those are just Random girls modeling the leotards.
