I sat at the table as mom poured the soup in to a big pan and put it on the stove. "You haven't said much, what's going on?" Mom asked."I dunno I'm pretty tired." I said. "Ok, why don't you go upstairs and sleep I'll wake you when the soup is ready!" I carried my crutches in my left hand and limped upstairs to my bedroom.
I closed the blinds and shut off my light. My eyelids got heavy and before I knew it I was fast asleep.

I was so hungry I ate my soup in less than 1 minute. Now that I was done, I heated up a glass of milk and walked back to my room. I wasn't tired at all so I turned on music and put my earbuds in. After about 30 minutes I fell back asleep.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.

I threw my pillow at my alarm clock. It fell of the night stand and the beeping stopped. The sun shined through my blinds. I didn't want to, but I had to get out of bed sometime today. I came downstairs only to see my mom sitting at the counter on her computer. She was wearing pj's and her hair was in a messy bun. A cup of coffee was beside her. "Morning, sunshine!" She said to me. Good morning! "Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked. "I didn't wake you up last night because when you were in your room you were fast asleep and I knew you would be better off just getting rest." She replied. Anyhow, I'll make you breakfast then you need to do some schoolwork. (I was homeschooled because I was in a daytime program in gymnastics where you go from 7:00am to 10:00am which is four hours.) "Ok." I said
