When we got to the ER, my foot hurt even worse. There was about a five minute wait until the nurse could see me.
The nurse unwrapped the tape and looked at my cut. "This is a pretty deep cut, we're going to have to give you stitches." She said.
She put some kind of liquid on a cotton ball and taped it on my cut. After about 20 minutes they took the cotton ball off. It felt like my foot had fallen asleep. Then the doctor came in.
He put a blue sheet over my foot and grabbed a sharp tool. "When is he going to start?" I asked myself.
5...10...minutes had passed and he was done. He took the blue sheet off my foot revealing the stitches on my foot. He grabbed new athletic tape and wrapped my whole foot. "I gave you 13 stitches." Said the doctor. I gave a half smile showing my appreciation. "Thanks!" said my mom. "Anytime!" He replied. "Wait before I forget, you need these!" He said handing me crutches.
