Paige and I tiptoed down stairs. It was 12:00 at night. We had watched 3 episodes of Its not me, it's you and played Apples to Apples already. I grabbed my computer off the table and Paige got the chips. I looked out the window. It was so wet I could barely see the grass and it was still raining. With these weather conditions, gymnastics was definitely going to be cancelled.
When we were upstairs, we laid in my bed and watched YouTube. We came across a video of Simone Biles on beam. Let's try to her routine but way easier! Paige suggested. Good idea!!! We walked down the hall to my gymnastics room.
Paige tried to copy her routine first then I did. We both failed. How does Simone do that! I said. No idea! Paige replied.
When we came back in my room the power went out. Paige and I got kinda scared even though we knew it was just because of the storm. We took advantage of the power outage and played hide and seek with Gracie I was the seeker first.
After a couple rounds Gracie crashed in her room. So Paige and I went back to my room and watched more YouTube.
Paige was clicking on another video when I began to doze off. I was in the car driving somewhere when all of the sudden mom slammed on the brakes making a screeching sound. When I actually woke up I realized the screeching sound was just the air vent coming on. I looked up at Paige she was still watching YouTube. It was about 2 o'clock. I watched a few minutes of the video and fell back asleep.
