Kuza sat in one of the sewer drains, using it as a recliner pretty much. There was no water or sewage that flowed through it. Even if it was dirty, it's not like he really cared. Him and Croc weren't exactly the cleanest people in the world. He had his sketch pad in his lap, drawing whatever was coming to his mind. From outside, a raven flew in through the bars and chose to land on his notebook.

"Shoe, shoe!" He groaned when the bird wouldn't listen to him.

Croc couldn't help but laugh at how cute Kuza looked frustrated. "Sorry, Kitten. They're drawn to my brother's soul."

"Well," He huffed, "Make them go away."

"I cannot, nor will not, ever tell my children where to go."

Croc sighed to himself. He was the only one who could hear his brother's voice. Covey didn't bother him too much but on occasion, he couldn't help himself from making comments. Dry, dead leaves started to tumble in across the cobblestone at his feet. He felt a cold draft that was unsettling. Even the raven decided to fly off. Croc grabbed Kuza by his hips and pulled him down to the ground.

"Head upstairs and spend some time with the others. I have something to attend to." He said.

Kuza reached up on his tip-toes and kissed him. The way that vampire could see past his psychical appearance, it meant so much to Croc. He'd never truly understand what he meant to the demon. Kuza understood what his love was trying to say. He ran off towards the exit opposite of where the wind was blowing in from.

"Brother, I know you chose to preserve my voice and my power. Please, offer Thursday the same courtesy. The boy is simply too naive to have ever known better."

"And what's your excuse?" He replied.

"I have none." Covey answered honestly, "I was foolish. I'm sorry. Thursday will understand, but Lumi and Apollo never will. When the day comes that you kill them, leave nothing. They deserve to have their souls ripped apart at the seams for the pain they've caused us and countless others. They will never see the light."

"You're only reaffirming what I already knew." Croc muttered.

He was chilled by the sound of Jasper's cane walking down the tunnel. In his bones, he could feel this coming. As the warden's body weakened, he was trying to finish any business he could. That included cutting down another branch of Croc's family tree. Shae walked alongside him, carrying the body of a young demon.

Though Thursday was slightly older than Croc, he had always looked the youngest in the family. Small horns sprouted out from his head, his long black hair draped along them. He had the wings of a bat and sharp nails to match. Croc had to admit, he did prefer to see Thursday in his more human form. His true form of a massive bat was terrifying, even to him.

"I have some rather disheartening news." Jasper spoke, "In trying to capture Thursday, I discovered Lumi has joined Apollo in following Tesla. They are planning an attack, as I'm sure you've figured out. Do you think you can handle them both?"
