In the peaceful realm of Vanaheim, Qrow Manor houses their criminally insane. Though it is a place to avoid, Ryan realizes entering the gates will be the only way to bring some peace back to their broken family. Unfortunately, everything comes at th...
Felix sighed when he heard a knock at the door, "Who is it this late?"
"That made you sound so old." Marci replied.
He snickered, "I'm getting up there in age, you know."
"You're dead. You don't age anymore." She reminded him.
"Oh, yeah." Felix laughed as he dragged himself out of bed.
It wasn't really that late, but late enough no one should be bothering them. He opened up the door and saw the two elves on the other side. They both looked pretty tired, considering they'd just done two major surgeries. Then he noticed Croc looming behind the two of them. He didn't look that happy. Felix slipped out of the room for a moment to have this conversation in the hall.

"Hand him over." Croc growled.
Remington hugged the sleeping corgi closer to his chest, "I don't wanna!"
He sighed, "I was nice enough to let you keep them for a day. Now, will you please give him to Felix?"
"Fine, but I call dibs on giving him all his baths from now on. We're bath buddies."
"Aren't you guys going back home soon, though?" Felix asked.
"Only to go pack our things. We've decided to move here permanently." Emerson responded.
"Remington." Croc sneered.
He huffed, "Yeah, I'm doing it." Hesitantly, he let Felix take the puppy. He really didn't want to give that dog up. "I don't get why he gets to have the little baby. Shouldn't I get seniority over this situation or something?"
"This little guy is special." He replied, "And he's not for me. He's for Marci. Thank you, Croc. You're my favorite uncle now. Don't tell Ryan I said that."
"I'm not your uncle yet, kid."
Felix smirked, "Yeah, but you will be soon, right?"
"Working on it. Speaking of, I should get back to Mike. But first," He gently picked up the kitten in Emerson's hands, "I'm taking this little guy to Micah. I don't trust you to do it."
"You're not nice." He pouted.
Croc scoffed, "I'm a demon. What'd you expect?"
"It's really hard for even you to look tough holding a kitten." Felix said.
"Fuck you." He snarled, "Cats are some evil bastards. You better hope she never goes after one of Covey's birds or one of my snakes."
He rolled his eyes playfully, "Goodnight, guys."
"I feel lonely now." Remington complained.
"You've still got me." Emerson replied.
He looked at him like he was an idiot. "Don't be ridiculous. You could never dream of filling the hole in my heart that was left after they took that baby away from me."
