Jasper kept a firm grip on his desk behind him. He couldn't believe how fast the end had come on. Then again, look how quickly Deacon's life left him. He was fine, then in a matter of twenty four hours he couldn't move from his bed. Jasper didn't want to reach that point. He'd never pushed it that far before, but this body was different than the rest.

The vampire that gave his life for Jasper, he loved him. He'd never had another romantic love in his life, other than that man. Letting go of this body felt like letting go of him. Jasper knew it was time to stop being so selfish, though. He called all his aids to his office to deliver his orders. They were running out of time to prepare for the fight on the horizon.

"Where's Angela?" Ryan asked, "Isn't she one of your aids too?"

"No. She's actually one of Ash's familiars, but Ashley leaves her in my care most the time. She'll be with Ash right now, preparing to face Kiapolo." Jasper explained, "You shouldn't be here either, Ryan. You're not one of my submissive, but I could use your help with something. You may not like what I have to ask of you."

"I'll do what I have to to protect my family." He replied.

"You're aware of what an incubus is?" He asked, to which Ryan nodded. "Most get their energy from having sex with several people, not having created any bond with their victim. A rare few, though, prefer to toy with their prey for a long time. This makes it so when the day comes that they harvest their sexual energy, it'll be a much more nutritious feast. Many don't have the patience for that, but I'm sure you've noticed, Asher has the patience of a saint."

"He's been working on cultivating your energy since the day he met you. That's why he made you so uncomfortable. He wanted to get under your skin." Shae said.

Even if Jasper had warned him his request was going to be outlandish, he still wasn't expecting that kind of order. Ryan forced out his shock, questioning, "So, you want me to sleep with him to give him enough energy to fight?"

"Yes. It will unfortunately drain you and put you out of the fight before it's even begun, but Asher is one of my strongest. I need him at his best."

Ryan sighed, "I understand." He turned around and headed out of the office. The more time Asher was given, the better. In the long run, it would give them a better fighting chance. Ryan knew, even if it put him out of the fight, it was for the greater good.

Jasper picked up two black keys from his desk. Both had small wings on the top of them, making it obvious what they belonged to. He handed them to Croc, "I trust you know what to do with these."

"Yes, Sir. Will that be all?" He asked.

"Yes. Leave us." Jasper responded, waiting until he was gone to continue his orders, "Shae, I want you to separate the twins. Bring Tokyo to Dusk. Then, take Paris, Yuki, and Kitty to the armory. No matter what else is to happen tonight, your job is solely to protect them. Understood?"

He respectfully bowed to his boss, "Yes, Master."

"Micah, your task tonight is simply. I want you to go tell your sister the truth." He stated.

"Now, of all nights?!" He snapped back.

"Are you insane?!" Felix added.

"Micah!" He demanded, "That is an order! You aren't defying an order, are you?"

The vampire put himself in check, "No, Master. My apologies. I wouldn't want to upset her at such a time."

"I do." He coldly replied, "Now, go." Jasper waited patiently for the remains of his servants to leave the room until Felix was the only one left. He offered his hand to the young creature, "Now, Felix, it's time we complete our contract."
