Chapter 6
(Katniss's POV)
Rue and Anna comes back home and when they walk through the door, they both gasp at the sight of Rory beatened and bleeding out.
"Is Rory okay?" Rue asks. "Looking at his body, he was whipped, so no he is not." Peeta answers, he kinda gave Rue attitude. Rory is unconscious so he is going to asleep for a while. I just want to know who did this. But who ever it is, is not going to get let off easily.
4 hours later
Rory finally wakes up. I can see in his eyes that he is in terrible pain. "How you doing Rory?" I asks with tears in my eyes. He picks up one arm and wipes away my tears. "Don't cry." Rory says with pain in his voice. "Rory, who did this?" Peeta asks. Rory thinks and says "Peacekeepers."
"What happened from the beginning?" Rue ask Rory. He sighs then says "When I was coming back from the Hob, a hovercraft came and picked me up. Then they injected me in the arm with a tranquilizer and I blacked out." He takes a breath. "When I woke up, my wrists were tied up with two long poles on each side of me. It was dark with tiled floor. Then 3 peacekeepers came in the room with whips in their hands. And they started saying something about revenge and the president. Also something about 1 by 1. So I guess I was the first one."
"So who is the second one?" Anna asks looking a little worried. I wish Anna wasn't here for the story, I don't want her to worry. "I don't know. Then the peacekeepers started punching and whipping me." Rory says.
"Well everybody has to be careful. We don't know when the next hovercraft is coming or who it's going to take." Haymitch explains. We nod.
Now we just wait till the hovercraft comes back.
