Why do I always arrive early...
and then hide?
I love being punctual...but girls aren't supposed to be punctual on dates. They should be late. So I actually get to my date five minutes early and hide behind a tree or somewhere for ten minutes.
So I got to the building at 6:55. I looked in the building window to see how I looked.
Alright. Alright. I look good. Now hide! I went inside the building and hid behind a counter. It's 6:58 now. I looked up and saw him entering the building. He was early! No way.
He brought a flower!
Aghhhh! Now I have to be surprised! My phone dinged so I checked it.
Victor: here.
Me: i'm almost there.
Haha, but I'm already here *laughs in hidden*. It was now 7:03. Technically, he's been waiting for five minutes now. Just another five minutes. He was still standing up, checking his phone.
Ahhh....fine. After another minute went by, I stood up and approached him.
"Hey!" I said.
"Hey there." We hugged and he handed me the flower. "Aw, you shouldn't have!" I smelled it. Smells fake.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! He brought me a flower! "Um...shall we go?"
"Oh, yeah. Let's go." We went on line and he gave the ticket guy our tickets. There were a lot of people, but who can blame them? Iliza Schlesinger is my woke white feminist.
