The Stony Brook Mall...
It's pretty big. Okay, yeah, malls usually are. It's nothing compared to the Manhattan Mall, but it's really nice.
I had fifty bucks. All I needed were a pair of shoes, a new outfit, and one accessory. Perhaps a hat? No! It's cold, so definitely a scarf. Nina ran towards a Hot Topic store and walked in like a zombie. Haha, I like Hot Topic but...date night! "What do you even wear to a comedy show?" Fatima asked me. I shrugged. What DO you wear to a comedy show? "It has to be casual because it's stand-up and it has to be hot because it's a first date. Also, warm since it's November but not too warm...because it's November."
She looked to the side and ran towards an H&M store. Nina ran out of the store after her. I walked over there and saw a fancy black floral sweatshirt, red skirt, black stockings, and blue booties. Whoa, look at those heels! Either way, I had to have it! I got the outfit and tried it on!
AHHH IT WAS PERFECT!
I looked at the price tag. AHHH I CAN'T AFFORD THEM!
The shirt was $25; the shoes, $18; the skirt, $15; the stockings, $5. A total of $70 (if you include tax)! I almost died looking at that price. I took off the clothes and went back to my pals, who were looking around the store.
"How was it?" Nina asked while examining a pair of thigh high boots.
"It costs $70 and I only have $50."
"So? Fatima and I can spot you."
"You will?" I asked.
"We will?" Fatima asked. "Uh, I mean, yeah! You can pay us back later. Nina, give her $15."
"Why do I have to give her $15?"
"Because you offered!"
"We both split it down the middle!" They both gave me $10 each and I thanked them. I paid for my clothes and was so happy!
