Kate's POV
"Booyah" I laughed as I entered the elevator. Teddy had agreed to coffee! I could hardly hide the smile on my face. I had a huge crush on the 19 year old. I wanted to know more about her and see if the crush was meant for more. The elevator slowly, made its way down to the ground floor. Having a younger brother had some perks, like using him as an excuse to ask Teddy out on a date... The elevator doors opened, and I stepped out.
Now actually where was Jordan? Had he ran back to our apartment?
I excited the building and jogged across the street to mine.
I called for the elevator, smiling at the business man who stepped off. I walk in and pressed for my floor. Soon, I stepped back off. Heading down the corridor to the correct door. I use my key to unlock it.
Slowly I shove the door open. What the?!
"Jordan!" I screamed out and he froze. His hands holding onto the top of the t.v. He had tears in his eyes staring at me.
"Put down the tv!" I shout, closing the door behind me. I stare at him, noticing the blood.
I stepped forwards careful of the broken lamp parts on the floor.
Jordan still stood frozen in the middle of the room. He had scattered everything around the room. Emptied out kitchen draws and smashed two tables.
Slowly, I made my way towards him. Talking in a more clam tone,"Jordan, please move away from the tv." He just blinked at me. I sighed and grabbed his hands, pulling them away slowly.
"Jordan come on, let's get you cleaned up."
Suddenly he changed, he pulled his hands away from me.
"No! I don't want your help!" He snapped and I was taken aback.
"Jordan, please then at least talk to me." I say trying to calm my own nerves. He had wrecked the entire apartment so I was scared of what he could do to me.
"Why should I talk to you?!" He demanded, I look at him watching more blood gather at his cuts.
"Jordan, I'm your sister. I'm here to protect you. We're blood gays remember?" I tried to joke with him but it didn't have any affect.
"No! You don't protect me! You limit me!" He screamed. I could see the pain and anger in his eyes. He's never been this bad.
"Jordan, please." I say simply and I notice his fists clench. "I don't care that you've wretched the apartment. I care that I've hurt you." He grits his teeth and then raises his fist.
Then every part of his body relaxes and he drops to the floor. His sobbing and screaming. I crouch down next to him. I rest my hands on both his shoulders.
"I'm sorry little bro." I say and he looks up at me,"I try my best to always put you first but for once I haven't done that." I sigh, looking around the room, "I shouldn't have done what I did. I should allow you just date who ever you please and learn the lessons of life on your own." I look back at him, "Lets patch you up and then I think I'll clean everything up and do a script read." Jordan nods at me, now silently crying.
I help him up and lead him to the kitchen. I find the first aid kit off the floor and open it up. I use a few bandages and soon Jordan's fixed up. "Being the big sister roll I am, I should suggest you stay home and rest but also being the one who didn't help with your problem, I'm going to leave you to do what you want."
"Kate, you always do good things. I'm sorry." Jordan mumbles, "I should listen to you more."
"And I should listen to you more." He smiles weakly at me.
"We're blood gays, we have each other's back." Jordan says and now I notice the sadness in his eyes.
"Blood gays for life." I giggle and Jordan just nods.
"Thanks sis." He says then turns and heads into his bedroom.
Blood gays was our thing we made up when we came out to each other when we where younger. It was around the time Jordan was studying Blood Brothers is school, so that's where we altered it from.
"Now where to start?" I whisper looking around the room.
That's when I hear a knocking on the door. I walk over to it, opening it on it's chain. It was Fernando.
"Oh hi kate." He said with a sigh.
"Hello Fernando." I say looking him up and down. He was bare foot and that bugged me.
"Is Jordan okay?" He asks and I look back up to join his eyes.
"He's fine now." I say simply.
"Oh good, I just came by earlier and he shut the door on me." Fernando raises his arm rubbing the back of his neck.
"What Jack did, I don't understand." Fernando frowns, causing wrinkles across his forehead.
"Yes Jack was unkind but I myself didn't help situations."
Fernando just nods.
"Ca-an you tell him I've been by?" He says stuttering.
I just smile and nod.
"Okay, I best be going back up to check on Oliver. Bye." Fernando says and I nod. Closing the door.
