Kate's POV
Chandler showing up was a surprise.
I had drove home after a talk with him. He promised to look after him, and explained that it probably would be best if Jordan had some time away from the rest of us. I felt offended but understood.
Zoe climbed out my car as I still sat inside, deep in thought.

She tapped on my window, making me jump. She then gestured, for me to get out. So I did, locking the car.
"I know a lot has happened today, but are you okay?" Zoe asks and we head inside the apartment building.
"I'll be better soon." I shrug, as we head inside the elevator.
"You sure?" Zoe, looks at me questioning and I sigh.
"I don't know what to do anymore. Jordan has such a complicated life, he doesn't help himself so I try and help him and that never goes well. He let's me in and then shoves me away the next. He's my little brother, but my god it doesn't alway feel like that. Sometimes he's a complete dickhead and I want to kick him out but then I remember him when we where younger. When we had nobody. It all comes flooding back and I give in. Apologize, when it's not normally my fault and leave him be. It's just so hard but I love him." I ramble out, letting myself cry. Zoe, doesn't say anything and just hugs me.
"I spend so much of my life being over protective of him, that I have no life of my own." I cry into her shoulder. She strokes my back.
Then the elevator doors open. Zoe pulls away, grabbing my hand and pulls me out with her.
"Lets watch a movie." Is all she says as she drags me towards her apartment door, unlocking it.
"But I-" I began to say, but she just raises her hand shushing me. Her door open wide she gestures for me to enter. I just stand there, unsure.
"Kate, you just said you didn't have a life. So I'm here offering you a life. Enter my apartment and we'll watch a film, you can sleep over if you want. I've got popcorn and snacks. What more could you ask for?"
Zoe smiles at me, pleading for me to do something.
"But what about Bailey?"
"I don't know where she is, she could be staying with Oliver. But who cares if she shows up, it'd be more the merrier." Zoe, still smiles at me.
"I..." I whisper. Then give in, walking forwards into the apartment.
"Yay." Zoe cheers as she shuts the door.
"Now make yourself comfy, I'll get that popcorn and snacks I promised." Zoe says, heading off into the kitchen. I sigh, sitting down on the sofa.

Zoe soon returns. Two bowls in her hands. She places them on her coffee table, picking up the remote.
"Now what do you want to watch?" Zoe asks, turning the tv on.
"I don't know." I shrug, not used to doing things like this.
"Oh we'll just look at what's popular then." Zoe shrugs, picking up some popcorn. Eating it as she clicked onto a movie menu. I watched her intensity as she got crumbs all over.
"Oh, this one looks good." Zoe declares and I turn back to the tv. The movie Carol, already beginning to play.

The movie was great. I cried and so did Zoe. We cuddled until it finished, where Zoe pulled away.
"You feel better?" She asks, as she sits up and stretches.
"Umm, yeah a little." I say, forming a small smile.
"Yeah, a soppy love story probably wasn't the best film to watch." Zoe sighted, picking up the bowl of skittles.
"It was a good film, though." I say, leaning over and grabbing skittles out the bowl.
"It wasn't you know..." Zoe says quietly. I raise an eyebrow at her. "Well, I didn't know is was, well that sort of film..." She says blushing.
I sit back, confused, eating the skittles. Then it hits me. "Oh, your worried it was too gay." I laugh. Zoe, smiles at me nervously. "Now don't get me wrong I don't approve of the sex scenes. Young people your age shouldn't be watching that but it was a great film. Lesbian or not." I smile and Zoe just nods, her cheeks a little red.
"You do know I'm only a year younger than you." She says, eating the skittles.
I laugh, "That you are but I like to act like an adult."
"Well, Kate maybe stop being so adult and live a little." Zoe says, flicking a skittle at me.
"Ow," I say as it hits me on the jaw, "What was that for?"
"Just to wake you up. Make sure to remember this is real life and that you need to start taking control." Zoe says, flicking another skittle at me.
"Oy, I'm awake okay!" I say, as she flicks another at me.
"Look I'm life, hitting you where it hurts." She flicks another.
"Stop!" I say, lifting my arms as a shield.
"But life doesn't stop. Life hurts and causes you to learn." She flicks another.
"Stop, please." I say, pulling a cushion up to protect myself. Zoe grabs the cushion pulling it out of my grip.
"You're the only thing that is made to protect yourself. You've got to make your own discussions." Zoe says, moving closer to me, flicking another skittle. Hitting my forehead.
"Ow, stop. That hurt."
"Make me stop, you have to take control." Another skittle hits my forehead. I look at Zoe she holds a serious face as she arms herself with another skittle.
She flicks it and it hits my cheek.
"Stop." I plead.
"Make me." She says, a skittle flying and hitting my shoulder.
Another skittle hits my chest, than another to my nose. I raise my hands trying to grab onto Zoe's arms. She moves, another skittle hitting my rib.
"Stop, please." I say as my hands fail to reach her.
"Make me." She replies, another skittle hitting me.
I then dive at her. Pinning her down. The skittle bowl falling to the ground.
I turn and look down at her and she smiles.
"See, problems don't go away unless you do something about it and make them stop." Zoe says with a smirk.
"Was that supposed to be a life lesson." I ask, still pinning her down. Zoe nods.
"You wasted skittles to teach me a lesson?" I say, realising how awkward our position was. I sat up, blushing in.
"I used the rainbow to help a rainbow." Zoe says jokingly.
"What?" I say then, "Oh." Realising what she ment.
"Well actually a rainbow used a rainbow to help another rainbow." To that I pulled a confused look.
"What?!"
"I, a rainbow, used skittles, a rainbow, to help you, another rainbow."
"You're a rainbow?" I ask. Then I remember. "Oh my, you are aren't you!" I say and Zoe just smiles, nodding.
It's goes quiet.
Zone broke the silence, stating,
"Well, umm. It's getting late, I don't know if you want to leave or umm..."
"I umm," I say thinking. "Yeah, I'll take up your offer of sleeping over." I smile, and Zoe smiles back at me.
"Oh cool. Um, come with me then and I'll get you some night cloths."
I nod, as she leads me into her bedroom.
"Hey, umm Zoe thanks." I say, "You're a great friend, letting me stay over and watch a film. Plus, your life lesson, though it was painful, means a lot."
"Don't worry about it, you deserve it all."
