Oliver's PoV

I sigh as I look down in my glass of lemonade. Only lemonade. I wanted to stay sober for once and confess my feelings to Bailey but it went completely wrong when Teddy opened the door.

"You ruined our friendship..." I shake my head and cursed under my breath. I took a drink from my cup. The door behind me opened but it didn't turn towards it. I looked up into the sky as I stood on the balcony of Jordans and kate's room. We all have balconys so I knew where to find it.
"You seem peaceful for someone who's lost their 'best friend', or did I not mean that much?" I froze in my place as the person approached me ad stood next to me chugging down on her bottle.
"It's not like that Bailey you didn't let me finish." She nodded calmly before sitting on the floor, her legs through the rails as her feet dangled over the edge
"Do you wanna finish what you meant then? After you said we don't have a friendship anymore?" I sat down next to her both looking ahead of one another at the word in front of us.
"even if I did, by the looks of it you'll forget in the morning."
"Then what's the harm of telling me?" she wasn't wrong if she doesn't love me back, then I'll act like it was a drunk mistake or she imagined it. Sighing I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"We don't hae a friendship because I want a relationship with you Bailey. That's why I freaked the day after the party. I don't love zoe, I love you princess ." I look over at Bailey to see her eyes staring at me with tears streaming from them. Now I've done it, she hates me.
"I told you not to use that nickname." I look at her stunned, I confess my feelings and that is what she says. I chuckle and look up at the stars and watched as some of them shined brighter while others dimmed.
"I always loved when I called you princess and you'd shout at me because of it when we were younger. You'd always be outside running around or climb something. Your parents would complain you weren't being lady like. Princess was the perfect nickname for you because it was something you werent."
"Only to you though, right?" I chuckled again as she caught me on my lie.
"Yes, you were my princess because I was the only one who saw the girly and pretty try side of you." I looked over to her and flashed my smile and she looked at me and gave me the same smile.
"I thought there was more to it then that. Too bad we're both too drunk to actually say this sober."
"I'm not drunk, I've only dank lemoade this entire night." I showed her my cup and she gasped slightly before looking away.
"I didn't realise... I'm sorry for running away earlier, the look on your face when I ran made me wanna come back." I smiled softly at her before wrapping an arm around her shoulder as she began to shiver.
"So I'm waiting for an answer, do you feel the same?" I stared into her eyes as she looked back.
"I-I don't know?" this confused me, she doesn't know?
"I have some feelings for you Oliver I do but... I can't be certain after my last boyfriend that you know so much about." I nodded feeling guilt and anger wash through me from those memories.
"How about this then, I'll take you on a date."
"where?"
"there's that ice rink up the road that recently opened up, how about there." I could tell she was thinking hard about this, after Max her last boyfriend I'd understand if she didn't want to try dating after a while. But thankfully she nodded.
"Alright as long as no one knows about this. If things go wrong I want us to remain friends and I don't want others making it akward for us." I nodded agreeing but suddenly she began to close her eyes.
"Thanks you Oliver, you dint know how relieved I am for you telling me this." before i knew it she was asleep on my shoulder. I huffed out annoyed and stood up picking Bailey up and carrying her bridal style towards her room after grabbing her keys and wallet from her jacket which was hung near the door. I placed her on the bed then headed back to my room. Jumped on the bed and smiled. I'd finally done it I got a date with Bailey. Without a second thought as to what that actually meant I fell asleep
