Tris's POV

I wake up to a loud banging sound in the kitchen. I run down scared something happened but I find my idiot brother attempting to cook. The kitchen is a mess and Caleb has flour all over him while taking out a burnt thing of muffins from the oven.

"You know you can't cook." I tell him. He jumps up and drops the pan.

"Oh my gosh! You scared the crap out of me!" he shrieks

I mock gasp,"language Caleb!" I say in my mom's voice. He chuckles and flicks me off.

"Craaaaapppp!!!!" he says dragging out the word mockingly.

"Here how about I make the muffins." I tell him and grab a bowl and start mixing all of the ingredients.

"So you and Lynn huh?" I ask not looking from the bowl.

"Oh my gosh will you ever stop bugging me about this?" Caleb groans.

I chuckle,"Nope one of my best friends and my brother are dating. How did this happen?" I ask

He leans on the counter and runs his hands through his hair,"Well I mean she would always be over but I never actually talked to her until a couple of weeks ago when you guys had a 'girls night'."

"I have a feeling I'm not going to get much information out of you am I?"

He chuckles and shakes his head,"So what about you and ms. prom queen?" he asks poking my side.

"What about me?"

"Don't play stupid. How is it going with Prince Charming?"

"Every thing is fine."

"That's it just fine?" He asks

"Great. Everything is great. Why are all of the sudden so interested?" I ask

"What I can't be curious about my sister's relationship?"

"You never have until now." I tell him while pouring the batter into the muffin tins. He shrugs and dips his finger in the batter and licks it. I glare at him and swat his hand away. He laughs and kisses my cheek playfully.

"Oh my gosh Natalie do you see this?" I hear my dad ask in mock surprise. I look over and see my parents leaning in the doorway.

"What?" Caleb and I ask.

"You two actually love each other!" my mom says in the same mock surprise as my dad. Before I can say my smart ass reply my phone starts to ring on the counter next to my parents. my dad checks the caller ID.

"Holy hotness." my dad says like a stereotypical teen girl.

"Who is it?" I ask my dad while putting the muffins in the oven.

"It's Four!" my dad squeals. I look over at Caleb and we both make a face at our idiotic dad. I walk over and take my phone.

"So how are you and number boy doing?" my dad asks leaning his hands on the counter in mock interest.

"Why are all of the sudden you and Caleb interested in my relationship?" I ask while walking up to my room and answering the call.

"I'm just curious!" My dad calls from downstairs.

I roll my eyes,"Like father like son." I mutter.

"Hello?" Tobias asks through the phone. oops I forgot he called.

"Oh hey"

He laughs,"is everything fine?"

"Yep! although I think my dad and Caleb were abducted by aliens."
