Chapter 37

Tobias's POV

  "Bye Tris!" I exclaim when she gets out of my car. After our little 'game' I dropped everyone off at their house Tris of course being the last. She smiles and waves at me as I drive into my driveway. Justin's and Marcus's cars are in the driveway so that means they are home. Crap I'm not supposed to be out without letting Marcus know about it. If I caught then it won't be to good for me. I notice that there is another car as well. I can't quite put my finger on it but it looks familiar. Probably just someone that works with Marcus.

   I lock my car and sneak towards the front door quietly praying that Marcus is no where near the door. I open the door slowly and quietly slip into the house. Ok, so far so good. 

  "Hey Toby!" Hannah exclaims. Crap. I wince and slowly turn around.

  "Hey Han." I whisper hoping she plays along.

  "Why are you whispering Toby?" She prectically shouts. I quickly put my hand over her mouth.

  "Shhhhhhhh." I listen to see if he heard us. Luckily I hear his voice which sounds like it's comning from the living room. I sigh in relief. He didn't hear us. "Come on let's go into the kitchen I'm hungry. I will make you something." I tell her and hold her upside down into the kitchen. She starts laughing like crazy.

  "Toby- put- me- down." She says in between giggles. I grin and plop her in a chair when we get there.

 "What do you want kiddo?" I ask leaning on the counter. She thinks for a second.

"Hmmmm I want ice cream!" She exclaims. I smile and push my self off the counter. I grab two bowls and the ice cream from the freezer.

"Ohhhh I would love some." Justin says as he walks into the kitchen and sits at the counter next to Hannah. I glare at him but grab another bowl.

"So how's the girlfriend?" He asks.

 "She's good." I say simply

"That's it? Just good? That's all I get?" he asks

 I scrunch my eyebrows and shake my head,"She- She is more then good she's amazing actually. Really really amazing."

 "Ooooooo Toby is in love!!!" Hannah exclaims. I fake glare at her and sit next to them while handing them their bowls. 

  "What about you Justin you got any girl in your life?" I ask while wiggling my eyebrows.

 "Which one?" He asks. I give him a look and he chuckles while putting his hands up in mock defense.

"I'm joking!" He exclaims laughing and I soon join in. After a while Marcus calls me into the living room. I sigh and get up. When I see who is sitting on the couch next to Marcus I freeze. What the heck is she doing here!?

"Hello Tobias." Jeanine says

I glare at her,"It's Four to you."

"Tobias!" Marcus scolds,"That's no way to talk to your new mother." My eyes widen and I stare at them.

"Mother!?" I exclaim. Jeanine and Marcus grin evilly.

"We are getting married." She says. 

"I thought you were already married!" I exclaim

"You know there's something called a divorce." She says slowly like I'm a child.

"I know what that is." I snap at her
