"Crud, crud, crud," Alexander muttered as they ran to the main room.
"Quit muttering," Chad told him.
"How are we late?" Bert asked. "I thought Chad was watching the time."
"I don't watch the time, I keep score," Chad said sourly. They finally made it to see a ton of people standing around.
"Where have you been?" Toby hissed at them. "And where are the Window Girls?"
"They're coming," Aaron said as the other door opened up on the other side of the room.
"And we're back!" Toby said, walking in front of a camera. "The last two bands just got here."
Toby gave the two bands dirty looks. "And today, we are meeting the bands!" he said, looking away from them. "First up is Window Girls!"
Anika, Oakley, Braelynn, and Janelle walked in front of the camera. "How long have you been a band?" Toby asked them.
The boys looked at each other. "What are we gonna say?" James whispered.
"Should we lie?" Bert asked.
"Yeah," Chad said. "We've only been a band for a year. We're pretty new to the business."
"Guys, we shouldn't lie," Alexander said. "Lying isn't right."
"And what if they don't ask us that question?" Aaron asked.
"Next is Total Warning!" Toby said, interrupting the boys' conversation. They smiled to each other as they walking in front of the camera. "Hi boys. So, tell me why you wanted to join in the first place."
James took a deep breath and he said, "We always loved singing and realized one day how we harmonized perfectly. Then we found out that we had hidden talents, playing instruments, and we were like, let's be a band. Then, your commercial caught our eye and we joined."
"Very cool," Toby said, nodding. "Where did you get your band name?"
"Well," Alexander started, "we were brainstorming names and came upon this one. And bam, it was us."
Toby chuckled and then said, "Last question. Who is your biggest rival here so far and why?"
"Window Girls," Bert said immediately. "I just feel like they are gonna be great. And I've met them. They are set on their choices and they have that feel to them that they love music."
"Interesting," Toby said. "Well, that's it for you five. See you after this next break!"
They walk away from Toby and stand next to the Window Girls. "So, we're your biggest rival, huh?" Anika asked.
"Yeah," James admitted. "You four girls are incredibly talented. It will be a hard contest against you guys."
The girls stood there, surprised at what he said. "Thanks," Oakley said after a minute.
"No problem," Bert said, smiling at her. James elbowed him in the ribs and Bert looked at his feet.
"And we're back!" Toby said and they turned toward him. All the other bands introduced themselves. After that, Toby said, "Well, that's it for this week. Stay tuned for next week for the first performances and some inside stuff."
The camera men walked away and Toby turned toward them. "You will be filmed everyday. Try not to cause scandals, OK?"
Everyone nodded and Toby said, "OK, time for dinner. Everyone go to the kitchen."
The five boys walked to the kitchen to see a ton of food sitting around. "Food!" Alexander said.
They ran up to the island and they grabbed one pizza pan with pizza on it. "Let's go back to our room," Chad whispered. The other boys nodded and they headed to their room.
