It's been a few weeks since they played musical chairs and a few bands had left. Only 12 bands were left, Total Warning one of them.
"Guys, we have to practice. We're gonna perform tonight, remember?" James asked.
"Yeah," Alexander said, scrolling through his phone.
"Well, let's go practice," Aaron said. "I'm getting bored anyway."
"Are ya always bored?" Bert asked as they got up to go to the choir room. They walked to the room, grabbing a few instruments along the way. They made it to the choir room.
"What song are we singing?" Chad asked. "I mean, it's almost Halloween. We should dress up for it."
"We could sing Thriller," Bert suggested. "And I want to dress up."
"Isn't Halloween tomorrow?" Alexander asked. The boys nodded and he grinned. "Chad, when is your birthday?"
"TODAY!" he yelled. "I FORGOT! OH MY GOSH, NO! WE HAVE TO CELEBRATE!"
"Did we miss our birthday?" Alexander asked Bert. Surprisingly, they had the same birthday.
"How in the world did we?" Bert asked.
"WE HAVE TO CELEBRATE!" Aaron yelled. "JAMES AND I WILL GO AND MAKE A CAKE AND PLAN A MINI PARTY FOR YOU THREE."
"When did I agree to this?" James asked.
"NOW!" Aaron grabbed James' hand and they ran off.
"Well, what do you want to do?" Alexander asked. "We can't really practice the music without the others."
"Ooh, let's go pick out our costumes!" Bert suggested.
"Where?" Chad asked.
"Let's go ask Toby," Alexander suggested. They walked around the big house, looking for Toby. They found him in his office. They knocked on the door and Toby opened it up.
"How can I help you three?"
"Do you have like a clothes area?" Alexander asked. "Tomorrow is Halloween and we want to find some costumes for our performance tonight."
"I'll take you to them," he said. "Follow me."
He lead the three boys to a room next to the indoor theater. "Here we have an abundance of costumes."
"Thanks," Bert said and they went to the place that held the costumes.
"So many clothes!" Chad said. "Oh m gee! I found my costume!"
He took out a onesie and held it up to his body. "Do I look hot?"
"Totally," Alexander said laughing.
"Then I choose this for me," he said, grinning. "I'll find Aaron's."
Alexander searched the racks for a costume. He found a suit and grabbed. "I think I'll be a rich guy."
"Good idea," Bert said. He scoured the rack, trying to find something for him. His eyes landed on a nerd costume. "I'ma be a nerd!"
"Wow," Chad said. "That's an insult to nerds everywhere."
"Oops." They looked for costumes for James and Aaron. Chad pulled an outfit out.
"Aaron could be a gangster," he said and the other two boys nodded. Now, James was left.
"He could be a prince!" Alexander said, pulling a prince outfit out.
"Totally!" Suddenly, their phones went off.
