The boys piled out of the bus as soon as they got to the mansion. "We're finally back," Bert whispered.
They grabbed their bags and ran inside. The three other bands were standing in there, waiting for them. "Welcome back!" Toby said to them. "How does it feel to be back?"
"Amazing," James said, smiling at everyone.
"Do we get our old room back?" Alexander asked.
"Yeah," Toby said and the boys highfived. "You five may go and unpack. Two bands are leaving soon and the last two bands will get a record deal. So all of you may need to write an EP. That consists five songs and the winners will get a full album that will feature their EP songs."
"Sounds complicated," someone they didn't know said.
"It kind of is," Toby said while smiling. "Okay everyone, head to your rooms and get writing. There will be all the instruments you need up there."
"Wait, all the bands are going to write songs?" Oakley asked, not looking at Bert.
"Yeah, just in case they are the ones picked," Toby said.
"Ah okay," Oakley said.
The boys literally ran to their rooms with their stuff. "We are back!" Chad yelled.
They burst through the door to their room. The room was just how they left it except with some instruments. "Still smells sweaty," Aaron said, making them chuckle.
"Now, does anyone have any songs that they've written without us knowing?" James asked.
"Not me," Alexander said.
"I don't think so," Bert said and Aaron agreed.
"So just me," Chad said.
"Yep."
"Well does anyone have any ideas?" James asked.
"I might," Bert said.
He stood up and grabbed a notebook. "We'll let you do that. Anyone else have an idea?" Alexander.
"How about we just write down our feelings, translate it into a song, and then show everyone," Aaron said.
"Good idea AW!" James said, fist bumping him.
They all grabbed notebooks except for Chad. "What am I supposed to do?" he asked. "I already wrote a song."
"Well, wait for us to finish ours," Alexander said. Chad nodded, sitting down.
He opened the mini fridge to find Nutella. He grinned to himself and grabbed it. Chad opened the jar and stuck his finger in. "Nutella," he said happily, eating it straight out of the jar. "My love."
He jumped as an idea came to him. He didn't care if he already wrote a song. He's going to write a song about food, his one true love.
It took them some time to write just the lyrics but they did it. "Dudes, I've finished writing this song," Bert said.
"Let's hear it," James said, looking up from his piece of paper.
"Ooooh ooooh ooooh
Woah, we've got something' here
It's taking me under and under
I feel as if I'm under a tidal wave
You got me on Cloud Nine
When I see you aroundYou blow me away with every smile
Can't you just stay awhile? (Stay awhile)
Come a little closer, little closer
Don't you see that I'm following every move, every little thing
Can't you just stay awhile?
