"Awesome!" Aaron said as they heard Chad's stomach growl.
"You know, I haven't had food yet," he said. "Will we be able to get food later?"
"Yes you will," Toby answered. "After the challenge."
Chad nodded, not looking too happy. "So, all the bands will participate in this," Toby informed them. "I will give each of you a clicker to answer the questions. This game is kind of like Jeopardy if you couldn't tell."
"I love Jeopardy!" Alexander and Bert both squealed and then looked down in embarrassment.
"Anyways, there will be six categories in this game and each will be a different music genre," Toby said. "You have to name the song I will play by clicking your clickers. If you get it wrong, others will try to do better. If you get it right, you will be rewarded points, and if you get it wrong, you will be deducted points. Sounds easy, right? You will be playing with your band and anyone of you can answer. Here are your clickers now."
A woman handed out clickers to each band. James grabbed one for him and his friends. He turned to his friends and said, "What do we do now?"
"I have no idea," Alexander said, shrugging. "Ask Toby."
"Why can't you?" Bert said. "Since you're asking someone to do it, you obviously can't."
"I'll do it," Aaron said, not wanting his friends to get into a fight. He walks off.
"Geez guys," Chad said. "Are you on your week or what?"
"No," they both said crossly. Aaron walked back to them.
"We go over there," Aaron said, pointing to a row of stands just like Jeopardy. They walked to the stands and stood behind one, writing their band name down on the screen. They waited a few minutes, watching every other bands figure out that they had to go to the stands.
"Okay, bands!" Toby said, clapping his hands to get their attention. "Are you ready for the game?"
Every band said yes except Chad. He said, "I'd rather eat, but you know, we have to play this."
Toby chuckled before turning to a screen. "Here it'll show you six categories that each of you will pick," Toby said, "starting with Total Warning."
Suddenly, the screen lit up showing six categories. "And the categories are: Musicals, Pop, Rock, Country, Disney Movies Songs, and Old TV Show Themes," Toby said. "Go ahead Total Warning, pick one."
Aaron immediately said, "Musicals for 200."
"What musical is this song from?" Toby asked, clicking on a button. Music started playing.
"I'mma get scholarship to King's College
I probably shouldn't brag, but dag, I amaze and astonish
The problem is I got a lot of brains, but no polish
I gotta holler just to be heard
With every word I drop knowledge."Aaron grabbed the clicker and clicked it. "Total Warning?"
"My Shot from Hamilton," Aaron said.
"Correct," Toby said. "Go again."
Alex said, "Country for 200."
"Name this song and artist."
"We broke up
yeah, it's tough
most guys would've been crushed
Wastin' their time
Wonderin' where they went wrong
No way, not me
Hey, I'm doing just fine
I'm not afraid of movin' on."James hit the button and said, "Easy by Rascal Flatts!"
"Correct," he said, chuckling.
"Disney Movie Songs 200," Bert said, grinning.
