Night was growing fast as I walked through the deserted street. Many people find the eerie silence of a street at night to be unnerving, I however found it enchanting, as if you closely you could hear things that would be inaudible during the daylight. I had no where to go I never really did. I inwardly regretted walking away from Minerva saying I would be fine on my own. I turned the corner to a more busier street it was filled with the odd drunkard stumbling from the local pub that hummed with voices. I walked past with my head down going unnoticed to the men that stood outside smoking.
"Primrose" I heard a familiar voice called. I turned to find none other than the person I was just thinking of. "My dear" she said approaching me slowly "what are you doing here?"
"Walking" I replied. In all honesty it was the only thing I was sure I was doing. I had no plan I never really did."
"At this late hour? Come I must talk to you about something."
I followed contently, walking towards a street filled with houses that were the exact duplicate to each other- from unkept gardens with overgrown grass and rubbish entangled into it, to the misty air that surrounded each house. A vandalised sign with the street name written over read- from what I could make out from the dimly light street- Spinner's End. We walked through the street until we came to the last house on the street that looked uninhabited. I suddenly felt a shiver come up my back then a question nagged inside my head. This couldn't be Minerva's house she was homeless why else would she be sleeping on the street with me? Apart from the nature thing I believed she sold her house. I suddenly felt I should walk away but body seemed to disagree as I followed her up the slabbed path to the front door.
We stepped in the door that was somehow already unlocked. I followed Minerva into a tiny sitting room, it reminded me unfortunately of the living room I had once had not long ago the walls completely covered with books apart from one wall where a coal fire stood, a shall fire crackling within it. The other contents of the room were a tatter armchair and sofa, I felt as if this house was one that barely had an owner.
"Please my dear take a seat." She offered signalling to the sofa. I hesitated but obliged to her offer none the less. We sat in silence which didn't ease me any better. I decided if I was wanting to know the answers to my unasked questions I would need to speak.
"Minerva what is this about?" I asked timidly remembering what my father had said about questioning an adult, I shuddered at the thought and turned my attention back to the woman in front of me, hoping she hadn't noticed.
"Primrose, there is something I need to tell you" she said with sadness in her voice "I only hope you can forgive me" at that she stood and removed a wooden stick from her shabby brown cloak and pointed at herself. What on earth is she doing? "Conversus" she said flicking the stick at herself. I watched, wide-eyed, as sparks shot out of the stick and light engulfed her form. I jumped up as I seen her features starting to change, her hair turned from brownish-grey to black, pinned up into a tight bun. Her once grey eyes turned into green and her rosy skin turned pale.
"W..." But I never finished my sentence as the room started to sway and I fell back into darkness.
----Snape---- (A/N yes you get a change of view I hope you like it)
I was in the kitchen brewing some dreamless sleep. How I loathed the summers when I wasn't at Hogwarts putting fear into students. I laughed at the thought of their frightened faces as I entered the class, the way their annoying chatter silenced with the faint sound of my shoes clicking. My thoughts were silenced with a small thud coming from my sitting area. I grabbed my wand and slowly walked to the door. I turned the door knob and opened it ajar pointing my wand through the small space before fully swinging the door open to find a small girl lying on the floor, over her stood a rather hysterical woman who I knew well. Why is she in my house?
