Several weeks had passed from that day Dumbledore had visited. Today was the day I would be going to Hogwarts for the first time and to be honest I was really nervous. School was never my strong point, I spent more time with my noise in a book or wrapped up in daydreams of freedom than spending time with other people. Truth was I had never really had a friend. A friend my thoughts returned to that day at the park with the sandy haired boy I wonder what happened to him?
"Primrose!" The call of Snape's voice brought me from my thoughts. "We will be leaving soon." He said standing in the doorway of my room then without another word he turned and walked down the stairs. I looked around the room, it would be strange leaving, it was sort of growing on me, Snape was sort of growing on me. I had become so used to staying here and ever since Snape had started making 'dreamless sleep' for me I had slept well.
Taking hold of my trunk and Toby's carrier I walked down the stairs placing my trunk down then sitting Toby on top. I looked into his carrier to see him sleeping, I smiled to myself. "Are you ready?" Snape asked from behind me.
"As ready as I'll ever be" I replied more to myself than him but I'm certain he heard what I had said just chose not to acknowledge it. It seemed to be a pattern.
We arrived at King's Cross station about half past ten it was full with people of all sorts. Maybe some of them are witches and wizards too I thought glancing at the people that rushed past us. "Now here is your ticket it's very important so don't lose it." Snape said stoping and handing me my ticket, I took it from him. As soon as it was in my grip he turned to leave I didn't notice as I was looking down at my ticket.
Platform 9 &3/4 it read I blinked then looked at it again to see it still remained the same. This can't be right there's no such thing.
"Sir!" I called to the retreating bat-like form of Snape. He stopped and turned round staring at me so I continued "it says platform nine and three quarters but there's no such thing is there?" I asked becoming confused was there something I didn't know that was clearly obvious.
"Silly girl" Snape muttered then walked away leaving me alone in more confusion. I turned to see I was standing at platform nine and ten. I stood feeling isolated, people walking past there conversation swirling around me as I stood there frozen to the spot until I heard the conversation of someone passing by.
"There fascinating aren't they?" Said the tall man of the group hat was currently walking past me for some reason I felt drawn to them so I followed behind them trying to hear what they were saying.
"What's fascinating?" The young girl asked.
"Muggles" Muggles did he just sat say Muggles that must mean... I ran towards them pushing my trolley as fast as it could go
"Excuse me?" I called to the small family. They stopped and turned to face me
"Yes dear?"The older woman replied kindly
"Can y-you tell me how to er -"
"Get onto the platform quite simple really all you do is run straight into that brick wall barrier between nine and ten just there" the woman explained with a bright, crazed looking smile great she's mad! But then again someone telling you to run into a brick wall isn't as insane as some telling you that you're a witch. What have I got to lose?
"Primrose!"The boy exclaimed. I turned to see a pair of blue eyes fixed on me "you remember me right Drew , Drew Willow at the park?" He asked lunging towards me wrapping his arms around me I stood frozen. He remembers me? I had almost forgotten all about him and our strange meeting in the park a couple of weeks back.
