As much as they wanted to go out and explore the beautiful city, Avi and Kirstie still had to work. The group was very understanding and so they took a bit of break while Kirstie was still planning her wedding, but all of that was over so it was back to working on their album. Avi contemplated a lot on whether he should show the group the song he wrote for Kirstie, but decided against it as the song was very personal and had a lot of deep meaning to it.

"I can't think of anything! It feels like my mind has just shut down," Avi groaned. The two friends had been sitting in their apartment the whole day and they couldn't get their thoughts down on paper.

Kirstie walked into the living room with two steaming mugs of tea in her hands and took a seat next to Avi on the floor. "Tell me about it, I have ideas but it's all scrambled in my brain." She sighed heavily and a silence fell over the both of them. "I think I'm going to call it a night, maybe I'll have more ideas in the morning. Goodnight Dragon," Kirstie squeezed Avi's hand before getting up and walking to her room.

Avi grunted before taking a sip of the tea Kirstie made for him, then he smiled. He thought about Kirstie and how much happier he's been ever since she arrived here. He thought about her perfect blonde hair, he thought about her gorgeous smile and the way her eyes shined so brightly.

The very first time that I saw your hazel eyes, your lips said hello and I said hi.

He could remember clearly the first time he ever met Kirstie, one day before the sing off. She was just a shy teenager with an adorable side smirk, now she was a grown woman with the same side smirk from all these years.

I knew right there that you were the one. But I was caught up, in physical attraction. But to my satisfaction, baby, you were more than just a face.

Avi immediately fell for her gorgeous looks, her bubbly personality and just everything about her. Kirstie was flawless in Avi's eyes.

And if I ever fall in love again, I will be sure that the lady is a friend. And if I ever fall in love so true, I will be sure that the lady's just like you.

Avi didn't want to be Kirstie's friend, he wished he had never said it in the first place.

If I say that I could be your one and only, promise that you'll never leave me lonely.

He was just so shocked that Kirstie had flew all this way to be with him, he thought maybe Kirstie would change her mind and crawl back to Jeremy, he didn't want his heart broken again.

I just want to be the one to serve you, sometimes it feels as if I don't deserve you. I cherish every moment that we share.

Kirstie was a princess, what was she doing here in New York, chasing a fool like Avi? She could get any man she wanted within a snap of her fingers, but she wanted Avi and that meant the world to him.

Finally, as if a light had switched on in his brain, he wrote down everything he had just thought. He realised Kirstie was his biggest inspiration, the reason he wrote such great songs, the reason why he wanted to be better everyday. Without Kirstie, Avi would be nothing.

He stored away the millions of notes he made into a file, finished the rest of his tea and made his way to his room. Before Avi got there, he passed Kirstie's room and saw her sleeping soundly. It was like his feet had a mind of its own because they were walking into Kirstie's room.

"Goodnight Kirst," Avi whispered before leaning in and planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. He swear he could see a small smile on her lips, but he ignored it and went straight to bed with a huge grin on his face.

This chapter was more of a filler, but AHHHHHH PENTATONIX WON ANOTHER GRAMMY!! I'm so proud of them :) And by the way, the song Avi wrote in this chapter is called If I Ever Fall In Love. (he didn't actually write it but for the sake of this book he did)
