Kirstie woke up wrapped in Avi's warmth and she couldn't think of one place she'd rather be than in his arms. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the light again and when they did, she noticed that the bass next to her was still snoring peacefully. She also happened to notice that one of his hands had found its way up her shirt and was resting on her stomach, causing a burning sensation in that area.

Kirstie groggily patted the bedside table next to her in an attempt to reach for her phone but felt nothing but hard wood. She groaned and reluctantly detached herself from Avi's grip in an attempt to find her cellphone and figure out the time. She opened the bedside drawer and was relieved when she saw her phone, but then a pile of papers caught her eye.

For Kirstie.

She bit her lip, contemplating whether she should look through them or not as they clearly belonged to Avi. Curiosity got the best of her and she flipped through the sheets to find out that they were songs. She whispered in awe of the meaningful lyrics and couldn't help but notice that they were written about someone he was attracted to. Her heart ached, she so desperately wanted the songs to be about her.

When she heard a grunt next to her she knew Avi was waking up, so she quickly slipped the papers back into the drawer and crawled up next to Avi, as if she had never left and peeked through his private matters. His eyelids fluttered open and he was instantly put in a good mood when he saw the blonde staring at him. "Morning sunshine, how did you sleep?"

"Um, yeah..." Kirstie was so taken aback by his voice that she couldn't make out a proper sentence. Obviously she knew Avi's voice was deep, you'd have to be really thick not to know that, but she had never heard him speak first thing in the morning. It caused her heart to hammer a bit faster against her chest, his voice was so alluring.

He chuckled and as if he could read her mind he said, "Yeah, my voice tends to be a bit deeper when I wake up."

"Um, yeah..."

Avi laughed heartily and Kirstie could practically feel herself melting at the sight of his cheesy grin. "Is that all you're going to say for the rest of the day?"

Finally she snapped out of her trance and was flung back into reality. "Sorry, I just wasn't expecting that," Kirstie said, like a child who just got caught red handed in the biscuit tin.

Avi absentmindedly drew circles on Kirstie's hip with his thumb, causing a breath to hitch in her throat. With his other hand, he brushed some hair out of her face and said, "Don't be sorry, it was really cute."

They glanced at each other, Avi's eyes occasionally flickering downwards to a place where a friend shouldn't be looking. Words were not needed for a conversation between Kirstie and Avi, for actions spoke louder than words. Kirstie didn't notice Avi coming closer at first, but when she felt his warm breath on her face, she knew that they were way too close to each other to be just friends.

"Is it okay if I make up for last night's events?"

"Absolutely."

I'll leave the rest to your imagination... ;)
