Cookies

A/N: Thank you guys so much for reading this! I just got into a writers block. I had a cute idea for the end and the beginning is set up. The middle jelly filling is what I had plans for but they just don't appeal to me. If this section seems a little off that is why. I might come back and edit this part if I figure out what I want later on. 

Edit half way through writing AND I ERASED LIKE A BUNCH OF THE THING SO I HAVE TO TYPE IT UP AGAIN. crying

School just let out for spring break. That meant everybody in Lapis and Peridot's college got 3 weeks free to finally be themselves. Unfortunately it also meant when they came back they would have to wait until summer for their next break. They also had some important tests so the 3rd week was basically just for studying everything they have ever learned. In Beach City it was warm once spring came so the beach was packed. It was a tourist spot after all! 

"Good Morning." Peridot said to Lapis as she walked out of her room.

"Good Morning Peridot! Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah I'm going to the grocery store to get some food. I feel bad just taking all of your food."

"Oh it's no problem!"

"No really. Is there anything you want?"

"Nothing in particular. Girl Scout cookies?"

"Okay! I should be back in like 45 minutes."

"See you then."

She was acting like yesterday never happened. Peridot was very confused. She walked out the door with her wallet and phone in hand and started to walk towards the end of the street. This neighborhood was cute. Finally she got up to the store.

"Hi mam would you like to buy some cookies?"

"Yes I would! What would you recommend?" Peridot didn't even know the cookies to choose from. Just thin mints and thanks-a-lots.

" My favorite are the Thin Mints!"

"Okay I'll take two boxes of thin mints." She knew everybody liked those.

"That'll be eight dollars then. That all?"

"Yes that is all. Thank you!"

They exchanged the money and cookies and Peridot went in the store to go buy some assorted things. After that she came back to the house she now called "home."

"Hey Lapis I'm back!" She walked in the door with a couple bags in her hands.

"Oh hey Peridot! Need any help?"

"Nah I'm good! I got the cookies you wanted."

"Oh really? What kind?"

"Thin Mints. I know everybody likes them."

"Those are my favorite."

"Haha it was mint to be I guess." Peridot laughed to herself and Lapis chuckled back.

"Yeah really!" Lapis smiled.
