What just happened? Both of their hearts were racing. They felt something. Suddenly there was a knocking at Peridots door. The door opened slowly.
"Um... Peridot."
"Yeah, Lapis?"
"I want to talk to you about um... What just happened."
"Okay." Peridot patted the spot on the bed next to her signalling Lapis to come and sit down.
Lapis walked over. "So um..." Both of them were incredibly nervous.
"Did you, like, it?" Lapis didn't know how to say anything without making the whole situation more awkward than it already was.
"It?" Peridot was only acting stupid because she didn't know how to react.
"The sleeping thing..."
"Oh... Um."
"I mean I went back into my room and I was thinking."
Peridot cut Lapis off. "You felt something?" She was looking down twiddling her fingers.
"Yeah..."
"Me too." Neither of them said anything for a second. I was awkward.
Suddenly both looked each other in the eyes. They then kiss each other. Their hearts racing faster than ever before. Lapis and Peridot couldn't let go of each other. They felt a connection. They let go. It was electric. They gazed into each others eyes and hugged each other.
