Lapis was lying on her bed drinking water when all of a sudden- KNOCK KNOCK!
She spilled the water all over herself. "UGH. Now i have to change my shirt... OH wait!"
KNOCK KNOCK
"Peridot must be here!" She thought franticly. Lapis briskly walked over as she changed her shirt.
Lapis opened the door.
"Hey Peridot!"
"Hey Lapis!"
"Come in come in! You can go see the room and there is something ill need to explain but in a second. I'm gonna go help bring your stuff out."
Lapis looked luminescent to Peridot. Her skin was a beautiful tan. She must spend a lot time at the beach.
Lapis walked out doing a sort of skip-jog.
Peridot went to inspect the room.
"Hey doll." A familiar voice to Lapis came from inside the moving van. "What just gonna ignore me?"
"Oh... You." Lapis became extremely uncomfortable.
"Hey Lapis! I just want to say thank you so much. The room looks great. Was the hole in the wall what your were going to talk about?"
"The hole is skill in the wall?" The voice became more hostile.
"Jasper, do us all a favor and shut the fuck up." Lapis knew that wasn't going to solve anything but it just made sense to say it in that moment."
"Jasper?" Peridot soon became confused and almost defensive once she saw the conflict erupt.
"Let's just get your things out and I'll explain, Peridot..."
"Oh COME ON! Tell her NOW!" Jasper was extremely belligerent now.
"You don't determine what I do, Jasper."
"Uhhh.." It was awkward for Peridot. She had no idea what was happening.
"Well if you don't tell your new girlfriend I will!"
"Okay okay! Wait.." Taken back for a second Lapis and Peridot both exchanged looks.
"Okay first off she's NOT my girlfriend. Second off who is this Lapis?"
"Okay so. Peridot. Jasper." She didn't know how to word this at all. "Okay.... Peridot. Jasper was my old roommate. My old girl friend. She hit a hole in the wall." She cleared her throat."
"Ok you guys can finish now." Jasper sat on a couch in the back of the van. Once again Peridot and Lapis exchanged looks. Lapis looked distraught. Peridot was incredibly confused.
The two of them finished unpacking and Jasper left.
