A/N: Sorry I didn't write yesterday! All day I was thinking of this part and I just had so much work to do that I had to put this aside. I still have a lot of work but I need a little break. Morning had arose, Peridot was right beside Lapis. Peridot's head was on Lapis' shoulder and Lapis was leaned agaisnt her too. It was perfect; except they weren't really seeking intrests in each other.
Peridot slowly woke up to the sun blaring in her eyes but why was she learn over on somebodies shoulder? Peridot soon realized what was happening. Her eyes were wide open! She didn't know what to do. She didn't know how this happened? Should she get up? What would happen is she stayed? Should she go back to sleep? Lapis woke up soon after. Peridot's head was still on her shoulder. Lapis moved her head faster than lightning.
"I am so sorry!" Lapis was panicking she didn't know how any of that happened either
"It's fine!" Peridot just didn't want to think of it. She had other things more important to worry about like her broken family.
"No... No it's not!" Lapis look like she was at the verge of tears.
Peridot put her hands on Lapis' shoulders. "It's fine." She gave her a smile.
Lapis hugged Peridot. Peridot didn't quite comprehend what just happened and it took her a second but she hugged her back. They let go and Lapis went to her room. Peridot did the same thing. They both felt something.
