Chapter 13: Loretta

Finally a normal update!!!

Loretta's POV

A couple of minutes later we arrived at Lisa's house. I knocked on the door and her mom opened the door and screamed.........

She quickly grabbed Lisa's arm, dragged her in, and slammed the door. I stumbled back in surprise and a few seconds later Mrs. Marine slowly opened the door with a bat in her hand. She was a young mom, she looked about in her late 20s. She had long light brown hair that went just past her shoulders, and dark brown eyes. She opened the door enough so I could see her face.

"Why are you here, and what were you doing with my daughter!" Mrs. Marine yelled at me. I tryed to explain but was interrupted.

"Awnser me you... you b*tch." She interrupted, not letting me explain and stumbling over her words.

"Okay, I don't know what your problem is, but I don't like you calling me a b*tch for no reason." I stated. I felt anger starting to rise up in me, but I punched it down. She looked at me surprised that I said b*tch and..

Wait...

She had a look in her eyes that had surprised that I stood up to her.

Was she expecting me to keep my mouth closed and not talk back like a whipped dog? Could she have...

I quickly shoved that thought away before it got to crazy.

"How dare you talk back to me young lady." She said her voice cracking at lady.

"How dare you call me a b*tch." I spat back. By now Mrs. Marine was on her porch and out from behind the door, gripping the bat tightly. I just folded my arms and leaned my shoulder against the porch pole. Giving her a blank, expressionless look. This somehow made her mad and she clenched her jaw.

"Mom please calm down. She is the one-" Lisa had come out of the house and started explaining.

"That kidnapped you and tryed to hurt you. Yada yada yada. SO SHUT THE F**K UP AND GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!!!!!!!" Lisa's mom rudely interrupted and shouted. I gave Lisa a thankful, sorry look as she slowly dragged her feet to her room.

"Well that was rude of you." I stated calmly.

"She's my kid. I can do whatever I want to do to her." She stated confidently.

"You can't beat her, you can't starve her, you can't kill her... Do you want me to continue. Cause I can go on all afternoon." I said calmly like it was a everyday topic. This made her mad and I was pritty sure the bat was going to snap. I fixed my beanie because it was starting to loosen off my head.

"Get off my property! Now!" Mrs. Marine shouted.

"Okay, fine... b*tch." I said chuckling. I started walking down the steps and all of the sudden, my senses kicked in. Everything was in slow motion.  I felt all of the hairs on my back stand up. I heard a wooshing, and without telling myself my arm went behind me and caught a heavy, hard and long thing. I brought it in front of me and saw that it was a bat. Not just any bat, Mrs. Marine's bat.

"Good try. See you later Mrs. Marine." I said calmly. I tryed not to laugh at the look on her face. It was so full if shock and disbelief! I through the bat and it clattered to a stop in front of her feet. I chuckled and waved to her good bye and ran home.

At home

Loretta's POV

I walked into my room and fell onto my bed, face first onto my pellow. I heard a grunt and felt Peaches kick me in the side.

"Peaches!! I didn't see you  there." I said rolling into my back and petting her on the head. I took off my combat boots and walked into my bathroom to take a shower. After I took a shower, I got into joggers and a sweater deicing to skip dinner and fell asleep gently cuddling with Peaches into a dreamless sleep.

Yay!!! Another chapter!! I'm sorry it a peace of Peach poop, but its here!! I'm not going to update Saturday because I'm going camping in the desert! So please don't be disappointed when I don't update Saturday. And finnaly we have a chapter on time. Sort of late at night, but its on time. Sooo C'ya!!
