Loretta's POV

I woke up with something warm and soft covering my face. I  quickly put my hand to feel what was there. My hand came in contact with soft fuzzy, and floppy ears. At my touch the thing bolted up and stepped on my face. I opened my eyes quickly and saw a fat, golden fiery, peach colored dog. I laughed in realization and pat her on the head. She had rested her head on my face.

"Really Peaches, really?" I said jokingly.

Hey, don't blame me. Blame the way I sleep! She said sitting down and putting her right paw on her muzzle.

Yea, right. I totally believe you. I mind linked her.

I fall asleep, and my body does whatever it wants! She lowered her paw and sneezed, in a way of saying end of conversation. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed. I got dressed into a pare of ripped, black cargo jeans, a white two finger length strapped tank top, and my forest green jacket that said 'Eighty Seven' in white stiches on the left sleve.

I zipped it up and instinctively pulled out my golden key from under my jacket. I took out my braid while walking into my bathroom. I plugged in a straightening iron, after digging through the drawers, and brushed my teeth while waiting for it to heat up. Peaches walked in and started sniffing around for any trace of food. I chuckled in my head and started straightening my hair. Without knowing, I started humming the tune of a song I had written a long time ago in the 2nd grade during a boring lesson.

"What a lovely tune." I jumped at the voice and nearly burnt myself. Peaches gave out a deadly growl in warning. In the doorway stood a tall, buff man giving me a untrustworthy smile.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my house!" I said in a demanding tone, slamming down the iron, and shockingly full of authority.

"Well that was not a very lovely introduction, I think you are supposed to introduce yourself first, then..."

"Does it look like I give a dam! Now awnser me before I drop kick you into the sun so you will burn in hell!" I felt Spirit start to rise within me. Surprise spread across his face then tryed to awnser calmly, but failed. In a slightly shaking voice he replied.

"Well I am Trevor and I had been sent to come here to give you a message." He pulled out a crumpled up paper and said, "keep your eyes open, we are going to get you, no matter wat the cost, and you will pay for your fathers deed." And with that he disappeared into thin air. Peaches ran over to where he had just been and started pacing, and sniffing around the area, with a few growls here and there.

I walked over to Peaches to see what she had found. It was the note paper. I quickly folded it and stuffed it into my side cargo pocket, on the side of my thigh.

...

My eyes jolted open and I frantically looked around. I was still in the bathroom straightening my hair, in the exactly same position I was in before the man appeared.

It was just a vision Loretta. You are okay, we are okay. Spirit said in the back of my mind. I mentality gave her a slightly reassuring smile. I finished straightening my hair, and walked over to a secret place that I only knew about. It was a loose floor board that had a spaces hole that held all of my stuff that I did not want people finding. I pulled out my switchblade, and my song book. Sliding the knife into one of my pockets, I then sat down on my bed and flipped through the pages of my song book.

After almost ripping the pages in speed, I finally found what I was looking for. Looking at the words scribbled on the paper, I decide to upgrade it and make it not so cringey. After about 30 minutes, it sounded decent in my head, so I decided to try it out.

"Wow!!! That was amazing!!! All you need to do is add some soundtracks." I again jumped at the voice, but this time it was a more familiar one. I looked up to see JJ with the biggest grin in the world on his face.

"JJ!!  Stop eavesdropping on me!!" I said while quickly  shoving my song book under my pellow.

"Well just say'n. I have a way you could make a soundtrack. For free might I add. I immediately grabbed my songbook, jumped over my sisters bed, nearly missing the fan, and grabbed my brothers hand, dragging him out of the room.
