Chapter 7: Loretta

Loretta's POV

I felt so......alone.....

Everyone was avoiding me, even my friends. Haley, Cadence, Jada, and of course my ex-friend Tommy. Which I really didn't care if he did.

Lisa wasn't here, I don't know what Judy thinks of me, and Enoel..... he's just trying to talk to me. Or even get to me. But at PE he will get the chance.

'I'm scared Spirit! What if he just doesn't want to be our friend any more. What if he starts making fun of us. What if--'

Calm down Loretta! He's not going to do that! He's our best friend! Spirit shouted, trying to calm me down and shut me up. 

'I know, but our other friends started avoiding us.'

That's probably because they didn't want to get picked on for having a freak friend.

'That hurt.' I pouted

You know what I mean Loretta. Spirit grumbled, not having it. 

'Let's just get through the day.' I sighed

Okay let's get dressed then

'All right' I walked over to my locker and did the combination.

"I feel sorry for that Lisa girl." Someone said in a whisper.

"I heard that"I growled.

"If your going to talk behind my back, make sure your further than that." I turned around to look at the girls talking. They were at the door. And my locker was at the very back of the locker room. Everyone gasped.

"But how? Were like at the door, and your at the back of the locker room, and everyone is talking." The other girl that had been told the gossip said.

"Um wolf hearing duh." I said back to her. The girls looked scarred crapless. You should of seen the looks on there faces! I started cracking up.

And to my surprise, everyone laughed with me. I could get used to this. I thought to myself. I turned back around and got dressed into my PE clothes. Which is a pare of addidas pants, and a old T-shirt. The teacher excused us to class and I started outside.

I went to my spot for role call and waited for the boys to come out with our teacher. Then the door opened and a sworm of students came running out to get to thare class. The boys that had Mr. Robless (ro-bless) class came to there roll call number. I just sat on the ledge because why not? My number was where the ledge is so why not? I waited until the teacher came out and he started taking role.

"Nathen"

"Here"

"Brittney"

"Here"

"Breana"

"Here"

"Loretta" he said in a rather disrespectful tone.

"Here" I spat

"I don't tolerate disrespect Loretta." He said in a discussed voice.

"If you don't tolerate disrespect, then you shouldn't be talking." I spat at him. There was a lot of 'ooooo's' and 'dang's' going around.

"You will be going to the principles office now." He said rudeness dripping from every word.

"For what? Defending herself?" A voice I never thought would say that. It was Enoel.

"Young man, this is non of your business." He said back to him.

"Its all of our businesses if your just being rude to her for no reason. I am going to tell the principal about this."

"Oh really? Well you have no proof." He spat.

"That's were your wrong. Everybody here is a witness, and I caught the hole thing on camera." Another person who I never thought would say that, said waving her phone in the air. It was the girl that was gossiping earlyer.

'Okay, I could really get used to this' I thought to myself.

He just hufed and continued with role call. I just rolled my eyes and leaned back on the ledge.

This I gun'a be a long day. Spirit sighed.

'Agreed' I replied.

We started to do our regular workout when Enoel started to talk to me.

"Seriously Loretta! You are really a werewolf! I can't believe it!" Enoel said excitedly.

"Ya, I'm a werewolf. But really? After all that thinking that's it? No I'm sorry I can't be your friend any more. Or your such a freak, get away from me's?" I said a little shocked.

"Why would I do that?" He said shock flowing out of his mouth and scribbled all over his face.

"Don't know. I just thought that you would be like everyone else and avoid me." I said embarrassed.

"Ugh, I am highly offended!"he said in a really bad something accent with sarcasm all over it.

"What in the world is that accent! I'v never heard of it! "I said laughing.

"It was a British accent! What? Did I sound like a dieing cow?" He said. I nodded and started laughing again. And he laughed with me.

                      After PE

I decided not to got to the library because I wanted to give the librarian some time to think. I probably have her a heart attack. So I was at the break area. Everyone was stiff and had uneasiness coming off them.

"Come on people! Its not like I'm  going to eat you! I only pounced on Tommy because he slapped me and my wolf took over!" I yelled getting irritated. Everyone's face was with shock and they were staring at me.

"What!" I spat. Everyone just turned away and continued on what thy were doing. I sighed, found Enoel, and that girl that gossiped and dragged them to the office.

"Um, Loretta? Sorry about earlier. Can we start again?" She said to me as we were walking to the office.

"Um sure." I replied.

"Hi I'm Victoria, but you can call me Tori." She said very friendly and nicely.

"Hi I'm Loretta." I said laughing and shook her hand. We got to the office and showed the principal what happed on Tori's phone. He thanked us and told us to leave. We left the office and I got a few nervous glances from the staff. But I just shruged it off.

I walked to the stage and I was just chillen an talking to Enowel and Tori when I rememberd something........
